It's hard to be treasonous to someone that you've never had loyalty to in the first place. In the story Percy's dad had a bit of a excuse to try and keep him alive, but most of the gods in these stories are just the worst. The only reason I don't root for Cronus is because he would make it even worse than them. Not that they have any positive qualities there. Living breathing. Horrible. I'm willing to root for the heroes but the gods that supposedly hold up the system need to be spotted by their own powers over and over again several hundred billion times.

I like how Luke kinda planted the idea of turning against there parents with his song. But when Percy changes the chorus he grows angry/annoyed when the centre of attention is no longer on him. Also while Luke’s version of the chorus is about how much there lives suck Percy’s acknowledges it but says he just happy there all together. All in all this was really well made and fits well within the world.

The Percy Jackson series means so much to me, this made me so emotional Also: Percy be like: I can't sing Also him: Has a beautiful voice

Who else got shivers near the end? Not only is the song catchy, it also has a lot of their personalities in it. Not to mention it kind of hurts that they feel so abandoned they have to sing about it.

Luke's face when he said "I don't care where our parents may be/As long as you are here with me" gives major vibes as to how he tries to turn demigods against the gods.

Braeden Smethers When do they say this in the musical? Also they are not the same age, Travis is a couple of years younger than Luke but he and Connor are both older than Percy, he’s dating Katie so for simplicity’s sake we’ll say they have the same birth year, and Travis went to college in 2010. The average US teen goes to college at 18, so Katie would be a year or two older than Percy and Annabeth.

Chiron and Dionysus just be chillin while all the campers just be roasting their godly parents

I love how they have a whole song dedicated to people trash talking their own parents, who are gods, and just talking about their miserable lives. It’s honestly amazing
