It is now almost 2022 and this is STILL the best rendition I’ve ever heard.
I like to stop in here every so often just to listen and get totally blown away AGAIN. Wow!

Best version of the SSB ever. Now I am spoiled. Any Anthem rendition failing to hit the same High Note on 'Free' is a disappointment.
@Tonetwisters

I call it, a "jump octave." Pretty sure the lead singer in the middle, Baylee, hit that. At first, thought the little peanut on the far right did; but she was already singing the 5th, and too high ... the octave was off of the melody, not the harmony.
All these years later, this rendition still gives me goosebumps. Ladies, thank you for this.
This gave me chills no joke
The harmonizing is almost painfully perfect...
That harmonious singing was beautiful

The harmony that begins about 0:50 is special, particularly for these voices. I would put this performance in my top five choices, and I have listened to many many different performances of the SSB.

Not 80 here; but around 50 (born in Spain)....and never liked the Amerikan custom of use the mercenary hollywood hordes for something as serious as the national Anthem ...rather listen to an every day Joe/Jane sing it perhaps not as flashy, but with his /her heart in his /her hand, than to some famous BSer who charges abundle and don't give a fuck! These girls are ....TOPS!!

Every time. EVERY TIME. This gives me goosebumps. Bravo young ladies.
I've been back here many times in the last 13 years. Still as good an anthem as I have ever heard.
They smashed it....never heard a better version than this. Its years now and it still brings a tear to my eyes.
Ten years later, I still believe this is the best rendition I've ever heard. Chills.
Even 10yrs. later,I still haven't heard The National Anthem sung better.
I play it every night before I shut down my computer for the night, just like old (pre cable) days when TV stations signed off for the night! Proud be an American!
After all the controversy over pro ball players protesting the National Anthem...I come back back here to se how It should be done. Five little girls stunned an audience of Roddy college kids and alumni into silence for an incredible rendition of our anthem. At the end the crowd erupted into a huge cheer!
Stopping back in 2021 and this is still the best live performance of our National Anthem.
These girls have the best natural harmonies I have ever heard in my entire life. Perfect pitch and spot on key!
I can’t tell you HOW many times I’ve watched this video. What I will tell you is that each and every time she hits that high note towards the end. I get chills.
THE best version of The Star Spangled Banner I have ever heard. These precious Cuties are not only dead on each note and on their timing, they are absolutely adorable to watch. I love it when the little peanut on the far right (who nails all those high harmony parts) is about to do her thing, and her bigger mic mate backs up a bit, because she knows she's about to be blasted! What a great country this is, that produces wonderful wonderment such as this. I am so thankful this was recorded for me and others to awe over, over and over again. Thank you.

I always get back to this moving rendition of the Star Spangled Banner... Brings tears to my eyes everytime I listen..
The chills are running down my spine, my words can't even begin to describe how wonderful and moving the cactus cuties made this song!
I'm not American, however, I shed a tear every time I listen to their rendition. Love the last part most especially...(bra-a-a-ve)...:)
Performances like this come around only once in a lifetime. When I get to close down our radio station for the night, this is the last song I always play.
Wow. I remember watching this when it first came out. I never get tired of it! Cuties forever!!
1:08 "That our Flag was STILL THERE". I always get shivers. Not just from the beautiful harmony, but from the image of strength, fortitude, and the symbol of freedom from the yoke of tyranny evoked by the image of a tattered flag still waving after the battle.
Still love these young ladies. I followed their music for years.
I wish they were still around :(
Still the best ever
I've heard this so many times but find my eyes getting a little teary every time these girls belt this out.
Congratulations to Cami Caldwell for your superb coaching of these sweethearts. It is, most importantly, our National anthem and should be presented this way (with a minimum of embellishments), and the diction was absolutely perfect.

This brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to it. This country is great you girls are great. I hope and pray every day that freedom reigns in these United States of America. Thank you girls you are what America is all about in its simplest form. I served my country proudly and you do to.
It has almost been 7 years since the video was uploaded and I'm still impressed :)
I've heard that the Anthem is one of the hardest songs to harmonize to and these girls do it like it's as natural as breathing. Wonderful!
I can't believe it's been 12 years. I still love hearing them sing this.
This gives me the chills.. Amazing.
I heard this for the first time 2 days ago (Feb 17, 2013) and I cannot even guess at how many times I have watched/listened to it since then. This is the most impressive performance of our national anthem I have ever heard. A Naval fly-by is in order, not for the game, but for the girls...think I'll watch it again. This time with 2 hats so I can take off one for the heroes of the American Revolution, and one for the revolutionary Cactus Cuties.

STILL brings tears to my eyes ...
"And the home of the brave". I will never, EVER be able to get the way they sing that line out of my head. The twang on the word "home" coupled with that particular harmony just sings so damn well. Raw talent, sure do miss these ladies performing
literally in tears. incredible.

I've watched this probably over a 100 times. All I can say is that their coach should try and do this again! She was listening for all the right sounds and all five of these girls did an amazing job together because of her!
I come to this link ever so often . I did tonight . Each time it tugs my heart . It's perfect and these girls are special ! God bless them and God bless America
I have never heard the National Anthem sung as well as these girls have done. It brings tears to my eyes, each time I play this video. And the audience is just in awe listening to them. They can't believe the amazing voices of these girls. I wish that I could have been there to hear them in person. They have set the standard for the best singers of the National Anthem.
The best ever omg !!!¡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I get the chillz every time!!!!
A tear jerker for me everytime I hear it but I also love the respect that the crowd gave them, and the national anthem, by not getting rowdy with applause too early. They waited until the end. You don't see that too often. God bless these young girls and our country!

My immigrant father from Norway cried every time he heard this singing. I can happily imagine the flood while hearing this.
Best rendition EVER!!! I wonder what ever happened to these cuties??
Wow, that was incredible! I remember singing this song a million times when I was their age up until high school (for a chorus group). However, for their age they definitely sang it much better they were on point.
Not only are the girls amazing but the arrangement downright slaps!
This is great I love how I'm watching all these 12 years later
This is the way it ought to be sung.
I am sure I have come here to listen at least 200 times and I never get tired of it! Probably heard the Cuties several thousand times doing the anthem in various venues and everyone is breathtaking!

Agreed, however I am grateful that the crowd held off until the very end to cheer. I don't ever recall fans holding back from cheering in settings like that, if nothing else out of excitement for the game to start. The only explanation I can come up with is that the crowd was spellbound... and rightly so.
