The sound quality is insane in this space!! Every band that plays here sounds better than their albums! Can everyone just start recording their albums live on KEXP?

For those of you outside of Minnesota, what a great you're in for.
Those throwback harmony vocals are smile-inducing
Excellent performance. This is what alternative country is all about
Saw these guys for the first time on March 3, 2022 at the Roxy in LA and have been listening daily ever since. They tickle all my happy spots!
Hell yes! MN Music as per usual reigns supreme! Long live the Cactus Blossoms!
Thank you KEXP, I just discovered my new favorite band :D
Oh, my. You guys are like a pillow for my ears. A warm hug for my mind. I could listen to this allll day. I'm glad we've found each other, personally. I don't know how you feel about it. lol
Where have they been all my life? Incredibly talented. Jeepers.
Great harmonies by a great group. I remember Mississippi the rest are new to me but I'm happy I found them..
They’re awesome! They do excellent harmonies. They sound like the Everly Brothers. 🤠👍✨
Love to hear them do my Everlys fave i wonder if I care [keer] as much as I did before,in fact only the Kentucky accent [keer] is missing. They are great.
ugh finally! I've bene waiting a few weeks to find this kind of feeling from a band on KEXP. Thankfully usually it doesn't take so long. This band is perfect and hitting everything inside me right now. THIS is why i subscribe to KEXP. NEW FAN!
This is magic.
It was such a treat to watch and listen to this band ! Totally amazing ! To watch and listen in concert is my dream ! Ty ...loved that two headed beast...😍
Fantastic performance. Thank you.
Love them from the first listen!
I echo one of the other commenters Just found this band and am stunned by their music. I don’t know if anyone hears the echos of the Everly Brothers and Duane Eddy, but I certainly do and that is a massive complement from one of my generation.
This was such a treat. That last song, Mississippi, sounded so much like Tim Buckley (Jeff's father, for those who aren't familiar. He was amazing).
what a great, timeless sound; my new favorite band
Delivered & installed a laundry set for there Drummer in this video. Asked him if he played in a band since I noticed all his percussion instruments back in 2019, curious who he played for & he humbly stated the Cactus Blossoms
Yes! "Boomerang" been waiting for a clean recording since your run of shows at the Turf Club. The live solo was next level. Love it guys.

Great band, More people should know them, Harmonies galore.
Just saw them up close and personal at Square Lake fest. What a treat! Fan forever going forward.
I was hearing more of The Everly Brothers harmony influence , But the Louvins were in there too

Yeah... I agree with you there 100%... These dudes are pretty much cashing in on that huge brother harmony vacancy thats been left wide open for a good long while... and i say that as a grateful listener who appreciates their work, not as a critic... I think it's so blatantly obvious that these cats have moved into the Everly Brothers' throne that the interviewer wanted to give them some polite way to skirt around the topic i imagine... if they have been touring heavily for 3 straight years then they must have to address the Everly Brothers question on a daily basis... if not hourly at times...

I thought of the Louvins even before the Everlys - glad I'm not alone in that!
This performance is a secret banger. 🍺
Everly brother’s all over again great harmony. I love them

Oh my god! Sounds soooo good. Come back to Toronto when possible ;)
Nice good job
I just listened to a track on a Danish murder mystery series.. The cut was Mississippi and I'm in deep love with that tune.
Come and play London
Mighty
Can we talk about what Jake Hanson does at 18:14 on his guitar though? Such a great set.

Yup
A little Buddy Holly...a little Everly Brothers. I like it.
Some of their songs are remind me of Kings of Leon, and even the formation, 3 brothers and a cousin :))
The young guy looks like Jeff Buckley mixed with Glenn Howerton
Please don't call me crazy.. @25:09
Give me back my life! Oh what a ---
Does anyone hear The Everly Brothers?
WFMU is a New Jersey station not NY . Facts are facts let's get it right , thank you .
6:05 Drummer keeps wallet safe
They're good.....drums are mildly irritating. The snare is the big detractor. Guitar work is quite good...especially with the tremolo / vibrato. Vocals are well pieced together.

I think it's the way they're mic'd in this recording. Their drummer is fantastic live, and sounds great on the LPs as well, imo.
the delay sucks 3 months for releasing a performance NOT COOL

Yeah must suck to get a free professionally recorded set with video/ audio that you likely didn't pay for in any way. Boo-hoo!
