Yay 😀 the c6 drift build has started. It needs a lot of work but you got this!

Don't be afraid of the sanding process.....I did one of my cars and was hesitant also. The first aggressive sanding is where you'll take 90 % of the imperfections off. Can't remember the grit of different sand paper pads....think the kit had 500 grit,800,1600 and 3000.....was a 3M kit that I do remember. I got my headlights so I couldn't even see the insides from sanding.......my first thought was oh no. But as you move through the finer sanding steps you'll see the clarity coming back. Then the final polish......don't quit until your satisfied..............mine came out IMHO better than when they were new. After all your hard work once your satisfied with your restored headlights......throw some XPEL headlight film protectors on to protect your hard work. My kit IMO was an elcheapo kit but it got the job done. You'll get it....just keep at it. When I traded my car for a new car, Xpel film on the front lights was one of the first things I did.....at least that way when they become beat up just Xpel film again.

Should be able to take the switch off the panel to be able to roll the window up n down

I believe on the C6 the Lens can come off and there is a gasket/Seal, Most likely the rest of the discoloration is in the inside. Keep up the good work.

I have a C-6 too 08 Convertible. All the black wiring tape and covering is all crumbling and its all over the engine compartment. Must be all from China. The wiring itself is fine though. Need to re tape and vacuum up the mess. Headers didn't help for that and I didn't use header wrap either. Should have but might have come off anyway? Picked up a few mph at least at the track with the Kooks and there race cats. Going to swap out the stock heads for the Gmpp ported heads and a .036 cometic gaskets bringing the compression up to 11.1 like the stock Z06. Will see what happens! Will still look and sound like stock with bolt ons.

3M kit has it to where you sand polish and then spray the clear protectant on and they look almost new

I was just watching your video from a year ago about the 2 step and have a question. Did you connect the blue wire to just one of the wires on the switch? Or did you connect bother the wires on the 2 step to both of the wires on the button?

The reason plastic is being used in headlights is mainly because it's the law, because it doesn't break and shatter so easily and thereby it's safer if you hit a pedestrian

I'm so sorry that didn't work for you the headlights that crap last a week and it back. Getting aftermarket headlights would be greater. Get a sponsor for mods for that car. It will help you money wise. Get your subscribers or anybody give them a discount. The more you sell . It helps you big time
