The Byrds - All I Have Are Memories - pedal steel guitar part - part 1

Now the Clarence White guitar parts are out of the way, here is the first part of a series of videos on the pedal steel part for All I Have Are Memories by the Byrds on the Sweetheart of the Rodeo album.
This video covers the intro and the first section prior to the first guitar solo by Clarence White.
The pedal steel part is based on the instrumental track that was included in the Columbia Legacy reissue of the album in 1997.
The pedal steel parts are not that difficult to play although I had to listen carefully repeatedly when I was learning them.
Who played the pedal steel part originally in 1968 when the album was recorded?
According to Wikipedia and the CD booklet included with the expanded Columbia Legacy Edition of the album in 2003, the album was recorded in two separate periods of time in two different places.
In Nashville - 9 to 15 March 1968
The pedal steel player was Lloyd Green at these sessions.
In Los Angeles - 4 April to 27 May 1968
The pedal steel player was Jaydee Maness for the LA sessions. For the 27 May session however, Lloyd Green was flown in specially according to the CD booklet.
According to the CD booklet notes to the tracks, track 12 on disc !, All I Have Are Memories was recorded on 1 May 1968.
The CD booklet notes show that the alternate versions, tracks 18 and 19 on disc 2, which are takes 17 and 21 of the song respectively, were also recorded on the same day.
As such, I will go out on a limb here and say that Jaydee Maness was the pedal steel player on All I Have Are Memories.
