Man, i remember playing as a kid i always found the sounds really cool and just a nice addition, now im 20 and i really understand the horror of car crashes now and honestly i think its awesome how burnout changes from an upbeat soundtrack to the sound of the horror of accidents immediately if something goes wrong

Burnout is not the only VIOLENT racing game franchise. Does anyone remember the FlatOut franchise? The games where your driver launches through the windshield everytime you hit something hard head on? Also I'm now somewhat creeped out from playing B3 cuz of those impact time sounds and screams.

The first two games was developed by BugBear Entertainment and they are great but for some reason they didn't develop the later games which by the way are terrible. The only thing that is anything close to FlatOut is Wreckfest and surprise surprise it was developed by BugBear Entertainment.

@@davidfaisca3967 Yeah, I know that Thrill Drive exists but that game franchise is so obscure. Besides, FlatOut is more brutal when it comes to drivers ejecting upon impact than Thrill Drive. In Thrill Drive, the driver only breaks through the windshield but in FlatOut, the driver just launches out of the car like a freaking ragdoll so you tell me which did it better?

@@JustGenius2001 flatout is ragdoll, thrill drivers use seatbelts and sometimes shows some blood, flat out is a fun thing and even is intended in some modes, thrill drive is a consequence, if you have police drivers where your car is wrecked they will get out to investigate.

Well, at the airport in MW 2012 (if you have the DLC), you can drive inside the airport where people would wait for their flight and go look for the terminal thingys and you can see Rockport, Seacrest County, and Paradise City is mentioned on there so I guess that means NFS and Burnout are in the same universe or just an easter egg.

7:52 I think these DLC’s would have been a great addition to the game but they would have needed to been introduced properly. Perhaps the DLC begins with a cutscene at the movie theatre. The sign out front reads reads: “NOW SHOWING BURNOUT: LUNAR IMPACT BURNOUT: OUTLAWS” the camera then pans inside the movie theatre which we are then teleported to the spin-off moon world map. Idk, just nerding about. I really enjoy that Burnout Paradise can have things such as the Delorean and toy cars while still maintaining that feeling of “realism”.

It was a decicion from criterion itself not EA, they wanted to reduce the age rating so they tonned down everything

remastered yes, but only in terms of graphics, and for "night cruises", which is obviously only possible because of the freeroam map. Gameplay and event wise it lacks so much

@@lukeisbored8607 Because it fucking is, it barely has anything to do with Need For Speed Most Wanted, there clearly is no Blacklist like in the original, there isn't any mention of Cross, it has that narrator lady from Burnout Revenge, Dominator, and Paradise, damage model is Burnout levels of destructable, and it's developed by Criterion. If you don't like those objections and people saying that it's BP2, than you can GTFO.
