Thanks for the info. I have a few boxes of bulk sports cards that I just didn't know where to offload. I only buy them way below market or if they come with other bulk. But I might not turn down quite so many in the future. Keep up the great content.

Right? I used to get so annoyed seeing craigslist ads with stacks of BCW boxes only to find out it's sports cards, but I still *like* sports cards, just couldn't get myself to buy them for the same reasons as you

Those fees 😍 if it gets larger obviously that wont stay, but damn lol Also I love that you can change your shipping price based on the amount of cards sold, wish TCGplayer would do that. Great video, loved it!

"Near mint" (e.g. PSA 7+) is a very high bar for sports cards, I feel like buyers may have more issues than with TCG cards which are generally less condition-sensitive and fungible because people are going to sleeve them up and just want to play. Also TCG cards generally have better print quality/consistency wrt centering and defects. Curious to see a follow up on this!

I always condition harshly to begin with, so I'm not going to try to sell anything below NM especially without disclosing it. TCG card buyers are still very condition sensitive, mostly because it matters to the cost they have to pay. Many TCGs have as large pure collector base as they do pure player base. And, in my experience, the printing quality has been approximately equal, though variations from the standard are regarded differently by the two communities

It's sorely needed by the market, especially since TCGplayer have explicitly pulled back from adding sports cards to their platform

A few questions (i might have missed it in the video) How many orders have you done so far? On average how many per day? What rates do you buy sports cards at? I have passed on so much sports card bulk. 😢

Through BSC, 5 orders total this year. My rates are posted on the website and subject to change, but currently $5/1k is where I'm sitting. As I've said, I'm using BSC as part of a mixed strategy, selling more one-off cards through eBay or eventually my website Shop, and bulk in this manner. Similar to TCGs, this makes the bulk into a mostly passive income sleeve, after a bit of front-loaded work to get it listed

Hi Chase, what kind of numbers are you doing on this platform now? How many sales per day or week? I saw 9 months ago you said you had done 6 sales this year. I’m wondering if it’s worth the time to start listing my bulk sports cards here. Anything you could share would be helpful.

I haven't really put much effort into this site in a while. I've made several sales this year so far though, maybe one sale every 2 weeks. Going to lean into it for a bit though and see what happens, it really benefits I believe by having a wide inventory, and the time investment isn't really that big

@@MorrieLow The biggest pattern is a lack of pattern. Though, stuff that's new sells okay for a while after release, but really, everything has someone who wants it

Can't beat the fees! But the eyeball traffic isn't there yet. I haven't sold on those platforms because I don't like how it's warped around eBay and there's a bunch of upfront costs and fees that keep the selling of inexpensive cards unprofitable. BSC, even when they eventually do start charging marketplace fees, has set itself up so that those artificial impediments to fulfilling demand aren't present.

Ebay is horrible.. for sellers.. especially bulk sellers..

Lol, yeah, which is why I don't have 50,000 cards on there, currently around 500, all just above bulk or some card adjacent things

You listed a few cards without a low price for 25 cents, maybe you want to Check these prices, 25 cents could be too low
