Here's what I don't understand about the subaru platform: 293 hp from factory. You spend 10K on mods, not to mention the labor. You make 400 hp. 10k for ≈ 100hp is extremely expensive in my opinion.

I'd wager turbo heat. I run 43psi on an hx35 on my 1.8t gas Audi engine. It ends up being thicker longer which helps everything stay lubricated better. I use Delo 20w-50 which is a turbo diesel oil. It works great. I ran into issues with wear so switched years and years ago.

@@SomethiingClever i normally run rotella 5w-40 in my built legacy on e85 but this next oil change im gonna be swapping over to 20w-50 vr1, one bc it's gonna be warming up here soon with spring and summer on the way but also just to make sure that oil is staying thick.

It's actually not as far off as the numbers make it seem. It's lower I believe, but not by a crazy amount. Maybe I'm wrong though. Matt Armstrong blew his rs6 up by using the highest pump gas over here, which I still cannot believe he did -.- I googled it. 98 in the UK is 93 in the US. Apparently the UK is about 5 'numbers' higher.
