    I think the legato is a better iem, but rinko is a bit cleaner sounding. The bass isn’t as quality, but it sounds close in quantity. Rinko fits much better than legato, it kinda just disappears like the ie200.

    5:17 this is exactly what I'm looking for. Not a fan of forward vocals AT ALL. Should I get these if I already have Maestro Mini? What's your opinion? (Yeah, I love bass, lots please... but highs as well, like drums snares and cymbals very organic and detailed)

  • @rnarexperience

    @rnarexperience

    Жыл бұрын

    I thought you asked this question in the community section? but to reiterate, if you already have/or saving to get the Maestro Minis, then the Maestro mini is the way to go compared to the 7hz Legato IMHO. However now knowing you don't prefer forward vocals, it's the one thing Maestro Mini has, but Maestro mini also has better treble/treble extension compared to Legato. So it comes down to what you want

  • @dougmorato

    @dougmorato

    Жыл бұрын

    @@rnarexperiencewhat community? Ok. Got your point, thanks! I find they pushed Maestro mini treble a bit too much, no sibilance, true, but it could’ve been reduced just a little. There’s a loss in timber quality (like Snares and cymbals) IMO. I might have a shot at Legato.

  • @rnarexperience

    @rnarexperience

    @@dougmorato My bad, the structure of the question between maestro mini and legato was so similar i mistaken you for someone else. (Time for a cup of coffee) I think I might make a video comparison since the Legato is being compared to Maestro mini a lot. Anyway, I'd say the Legato does the exact opposite of the Maestro mini in terms of treble, so like snares, cymbals, they sound really veiled/blunted. The attack isn't as sharp or distinct. So if you really like those instrument details then the Legato is going to disappoint you, however it does have more recessed mids compared to the Maestro mini, but I feel it's a little too recessed for my liking due to how overwhelming the bass is on the Legato. Legato is really smooth, yes, BUT, it comes at a small sacrifice of the other frequences. Hope the above helps man. Apologies for the confusion. Feel free to ask me any further question between the two and I'll do my best to answer them

    I haven't tested them on metal but I did test this on an anime track which is more towards rock and the guitars and snares were overwhelmed a little bit by the amount of bass but that's from my personal experience you may want to check other videos to see if it works with metal. All the best

    Suddenly I’m losing appetite on ice cream, gelato and the likes. Jokes aside, review is pretty thorough and I feel the legato performs exactly as described in the review. Yes bass is impressive but when listening to jazz vocals, hmmm. Katie Melua doesn’t have that all powerful lungs like Adele but when listening to my current favourite Quiet Moves, she suddenly sounds like pip-squeak! That said, I don’t have to change anything from 7hz from ear tips to cable from all the iems I’ve gotten from them including the Legato. That says a lot about their sincerity.

    As one of the co-tuners of Legato, we always recommend users to run-in their units overnight at 80% volume with pink noise. This is NOT to loosen up the drivers, instead this helps condition the 8 tantalum capacitors on the crossover.

Linsoul/7hz asks for a video proof. & after you manage to somehow make a video showcasing that which is not easy as it's iem. They send out only that iem after 7-10 days & after receiving that the other iem started showing same issue. Also not to mention the og cable was impossible to remove. It took pliers to remove just the cable. Atleast after a long 20days of texting & videos they refunded me. I would just recommend spending more like 260 or so which I spent on aliexpress & got myself a yanyin canon 2 & it's way better in every respect & far better than timeless but with even better bass than legato so best of both worlds.
