It's 2022 and I'm 30 already. When I was 12 my father always played this song with his poor guitar. My father passed away when I was 18. I'm still playing this song.

Nothing is more emotional in this song than the crowd singing with them 🥰🥺 I was singing this on the bus while it drove through a storm few days ago, everyone on that ride was a high school student. Well I started singing this low. Then, the guy next to me, a stranger, started singing with me. Then almost everyone else joined the choir. When we reached my town, the driver had tears on his face. We got off of the bus and watched it driving away, standing at the roadside. It has been touching... it left me thinking of how we youngs are just a brotherhood, how people can make wonderful things from nothing. Love my friends and love these years ❤. Forever. Love from a remote place in Northern Italy 🫂

Me, being the son of a father who avidly loved this song would often hear him hum the tunes all my childhood. Back in maybe 2013 my father played this video on our family computer and together with my mother I sat through. Now almost ten years later, I'm nineteen only in first year of med school and sitting on my bed at 3AM as I'm listening, mind goes back to those days; missing my parents at home.....i can only reminisce of those days now. I'll only thank my father(baba) for this. To all the folks, love and peace ✌️

yes once in a lifetime!!!.....so glad you and a others realized how incredible this moment in time was........lasted only a few years. I was lucky enough to be in high school at the time.......we were all going to change the world with love and understanding! it eventually fell apart for so many reasons, hard to say exactly why. many reasons. turning point down was everything in 1968... but this video captures the spirit of my generation for those glorious few years. must be at least 2000 people in the audiences singing softly together as one, hanging on every word of that famous heartfelt song........so beautiful to watch and it does make you cry because all that beauty and promise is so dead and buried now in the ugly world!!

  • @petitepomme

Must have been a cool youth ! Obviously love and understanding were not enough to change the world but I like the ingenuousness of that generation, the true feels and progressive ideas... and the music ! Anyway, the world may be ugly but life is beautiful. Don't cry and roll up your sleeves, theres is still a lot of work to achieve. Peace old-timer !
