They are so fun once you get the hang of them. They are a bit mysterious but typically turn out really pretty!

The finished result is so nice, I just love it! These pearl colors are really pretty!

I have made so many of these paintings from flicking the paint to puddle pores to reckon it to Dutch pores and so on I always paint the sides of my canvas just to make sure.❤❤❤❤

Thanks so much for watching, I appreciate it! No I didn’t add any oil at all. My cell activator is Amsterdam titanium white mixed with floetrol and a few drops of penetrol which makes my lacing and cells on top of the color. 🙂

I liked the technique, and the wet look was great, but I'm not so keen on the colours, nevertheless, the finished design is terrific.

It sure is! I’m slowly migrating to gallery wrapped only, I find everything finished so much better than a level 1 canvas does. I like my 12x24’s but may try a bigger size soon as a diptych piece!

I wouldn’t have swiped this. It’s pretty though

I didn't see you add color. where did the color come from in the final piece?

@@danrieber7318 Hi Dan! The color starts to happen once the paint begins to dry. The Amsterdam pearlescent paint mixes white, but dries the color used out of the tube, so you’ve really got to keep track of it when you pour it. So, when wet, it’s white, and as it dries the color pops out!

It is so nice, I would have liked if you didn't have to pour so much off. The Pearl colors are amazing. What did you mix with them? I tried with glue and black canvas, they disappeared, I had no color. Just to add, I love the way you tell us what you are doing!

@MichelleM-vw9qe I think it was about 2/3oz for each color. I also used about 8 or 9oz of oxide black as my base.

Hi Ana! Initially, no you can't see the colors but they start to brighten up as the paint stretches out and then dries. Once it dries it gets very bright! Thanks for watching :)
