For many years Robbie was the compere of annual 'Saturday Night at The Auld Meal Mill' concert in Aberdeen and also was the presenter on the series of five Auld Meal videos filmed by Ross Records in various locations in North East Scotland. Sadly Robbie passed away in early August 2023 but his legacy as an entertainer and great supporter of the Doric language will remain for ever through these recordings.
