@@enderwalkgang yeah ice bear is most definitely not a psychopath or sociopath. I am also not quite sure about asocial though. He likes being around people. I think he is just more cosious because of his background in crime and mysterious dealings of various kinds beyond that. We really don’t know a whole lot about any of the bears’s lives at this point. We also do not know how much time passed between each of the flash backs for any of them. But either way I really want to see more of this show.

As someone with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) I feel like this video displays a lack of understanding of what ASD is as ice bear absolutely fits ASD to a T. People with ASD don’t lack emotion, empathy, or care for others, we just aren’t able to/good at showing it in ways that are considered socially normal/acceptable. Quite literally everything about ice bear screams ASD in a way that feels written by someone with or someone who is extremely close to someone with ASD. It’s frustrating to watch a video that seems like it will get things right, then slowly devolves into old stereotypes that are detached entirely from reality, then to say something like antisocial personality instead is just…do they understand what any of these things mean?

That explains a lot. I mean, he was completely non-verbal during his early years He is incredibly intelligent He is seen to be lacking when it comes to social skills He perfers being alone He has certain interests that he has an extreme connection to and he speaks in an unusual tone. These all are very common symptoms for ASD. Sources: I am on the Autistic spectrum and thus, have learned a lot about Autism in order to find a better understanding of why I am the way that I am.

I have so far dismissed this show as another boring kids show, but after hearing your descriptions and seeing the clips you included, my curiosity has been peaked. I'm going to watch it now, thank you

I'm an INTJ, and I can find some comfort and familiarity with Ice Bears personality, although I'm much more communicative and verbal. He's stoic, a bear of keeping his word, loves to dance, is a polyglot, fiercely protective, likes his alone time, and can just do things well naturally with no coaching. We get pegged as autistic, but that might not be the case. When I took an autism test, I scored way opposite to many autistic traits, even though some like my need to be alone and a preference for animals matched. I don't think he's antisocial either, that would imply he's anti society and resentful, I'd say he was asocial, though he's worked on a lot of troubles inside him I think as I have having a vexatious life. Having said that I wouldn't live in a fridge lol, way too cold for me! It's a tremendous cartoon, funny, touching and an insightful look at Asian/modern culture, with some genuinely surprising moments like the tote bag episode, in that something supposedly environmental can get to be bad for the environment. Ice bear has warmth in his heart, in that remote exterior, and that's why I love him so much.

Watched this show a good while ago after really enjoying Over the Garden Wall, and I distinctively remember feeling that while Icebear is the one that stands out the most from the trio, he also felt like the most realistic character. Sure, his behavior is (understandably) exaggerated, but his mindset felt the most relatable. Referring to oneself in third person is definitely just a schtick that they came up with to give him more character, but other than that the way he behaves makes total sense to me.

this is like me in school, so quiet, i think of school as a place to study not to make friends, whenever someone talks to me i gave minimal answers, and seem to not be interested, i regreted it, i thought having great grades will make me rich and succesful when i grow up, whenever there is a reporting or prop making or arts class, i do the very best i can, so great that they said wow to my work, i thought being so good at school will make me friends, and being silent will make me mysterious cool and awesome, it is not how great you are but how charistamatic you are, i wanted to shock my classmates that i am silent at school but with a bright future and that is talented, it made me like a robot, i can get in and out of school without saying a word. there is a saying of daniel carnegie the author of how to win friends and influence people. "You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you." Because of my silentness i soon have social anxiety, Social anxiety disorder is an intense, persistent fear of being watched and judged by others. I almost took my life. I didn;t do it because i don't like to see blood. And i didn't wanted to endup in hell. In the pits of fire and pain for eternity. When I go to college i'll try to make friends. Hopefully the pandemic will end. The last friend I had was when I was in grade 5. It scares me thinking of having friends. The only company I am close to is my family. In my youtube videos i am so weird at talking to the camera. Because im not used to it. I thought of making youtube videos will improve my talking. It did boosts my confidence. I learned that school won't make me rich because of reading self help books about money. School only gives you a 9-5 job. Then you can finally retire at an old age. To be rich at a young age you need to make businesses and be an entrepreneur. By providing products and services that solves a problem that people will gladly pay for. Money is an exchange of value. And other bunch of stuff i learned. It is not a one book for all. I have read 30 books and a bunch of youtube vids about money. I really wanted to be successful. Ok enough of my rambling this is a very long comment. I can go on for...who knows how long? Thankyou for whoever you are reading this.

In icy nights , I was sooooo pulled in I use to watch this show ever since I was like 7 now I'm 14 and it no longer airs in my TV unfortunately. I totally ship Yana and ice . He is a literal genius
