The BRANDNEW Scarpa Furia Air at the ISPO Munich 2019
Nathan Hoette introduces the brandnew Scarpa Furia Air at the ISPO Munich 2019 trade show, which he developed together with Heinz Mariacher. It's the lightest shoe in the Scarpa collection and maybe even the lightest climbing shoe at all. It is based on a lot of technologie which he explains detailed. According to Nathan the shoe will be released late this year presumably and will cost around the same as the Drago/Furia. He also mentioned that it's perfect for indoor lead climbing and steep sport climbing.

What would be the main difference between these and the Furia S? Do these feel more sock like?

yes they are defenitely softer!

If you haven't bought them yet, they are definitely more sock-like, but thanks to the different tension systems (and actually a different last), they have quite a bit more edging power through the big toe when compared to the Furia S (a bit stiffer). Although they are named the same and look similar, they're quite different shoes!

fauzo good question! To be honest I don‘t know, as I won‘t get them before autmn as well. But as it‘s a soft shoe as the Drago/Furia S I guess it lasts similar. Also depending on how often you were them :)
