Ashley and Vought 100% knows about The Woods. It was clearly mentioned in the episode 2 conference call scene. The doctor also wanted to report his initial virus test findings to Vought before Shetty asked to make Betsy sicker first. Shetty for sure is going past Voughts wishes by taking the virus to the level where it's contagious and kills the Supes though. Also Dusty was never there as his passed out body was never shown in the "dream" sequence shots, during or after.

Remember in the third season of the boys when Stan Edgar said that he wanted to be out of the hero game completely, maybe this is the way he was going to do it until he got the boot. Because this whole thing could be orchestrated by him.

Stan Edgar also said that vought was a pharmaceutical company and if there’s going to be a deadly virus out there I think vought might sell a cure for the affordable price of 10 mill. Or they can pick and choose what supes they want, and unlike before when a supe messed up, they had to clean it up they could just kill them and then dying to the virus would be a perfect cover-up no more supe clean ups

I’ve been loving the combo of Loki and gen v. I purposely save Loki so I can sit down and watch both back to back then come over to KZread and watch your breakdowns back to back. These shows both feel like they’re setting up for some crazy finishes

Could Marie's powers help Butcher beat the V caused cancer? Butcher gets infected with the virus which maybe initially cutes the cancer by attaching to the V in his system and then Marie pulls it out of him?

A 'cure' was also part of the X-Men movies and probably even before that decades ago.

A correction--the rendition of A Hazy Shade of Winter was performed by the band The Beautiful Distortion, not The Bangles. It was pretty much based on that version of the song.

I was 3/4 of the way there on Shetty being an anti-supe fanatic, but you got me all the way on board because I had forgotten her mentioning a dead daughter. Without that, I was stuck at trying to suss an angle (like she was going to blackmail Vought). On the question of the Woods: Vought definitely knows about the Woods because Tek Knight knows about it, but I'm sure the project objective were (1) find a reliable way to control any supe and (2) find a way to put a rogue supe down. The viral thing is definitely her own goal, wanting to eradicate supes, and she's likely going to kill the scientist as soon as he's completed making it viral. Which means if she is a supe, her intention is to take herself out as well, which would be dark af. But I don't think she has powers, she's just that experienced and confident in her ability to manipulate them.

I think they’re trying to make us sympathize with Cate. Maybe they’re about to kill her off. Like sacrifice her life “for the greater good” kinda thing.

My best guess for Dusty’s powers are similar to Shazam. He’s young but activates his powers by changing into an adult. Maybe when he discovered his powers, he stopped aging

One question, it is assumed that the Supers did not know that their powers were from the serum and that Homelander's son was the first child of a super since they could not reproduce. So how do Andre and his father have powers? Was Andre born with his powers?

Imagine if Victoria Neuman happens to be Dean Shetty's daughter. With Dean Shetty abandoning Victoria after Victoria developed her powers. Perhaps Victoria killed her father and only believed that she killed her mother and Dean Shetty took this excuse as an out. Maybe Dean Shetty even asked Stan Edgar to keep his end of the deal and give her a good position somewhere important in Vought's company in exchange for Victoria Neuman. She's a behavioral scientist and a psychologist, so it would make sense that she has developed a sick manner of manipulating young girls and taking them under her wing. Almost making them a twisted psuedo-daughter to make up for her past transgressions with her own daughter. Hell, maybe Victoria Neuman KNOWS that Dean Shetty is her mother and uses her as an in to keep an eye on up and coming prospects. Victoria could have asked Dean Shetty to work on a way to get rid of dangerous supes, an emergency plan. But thats a stretch. There are SO MANY WAYS that they can go from here and its just so good.

Vought might be looking at the long game and be planning for a future beyond monetizing Supes, as Edgar suggested last season.

I played mr green in a play my high school did and we did the third ending, literally the most fun I ever had playing a character ahah

So Betsy was the superhero trapped in the woods with the fire powers! She was in EP 3 and now that she’s infected she can no longer use the powers hence the little bit of electricity coming from her hands. Honestly reminds me of the two headed dragons from how to train your dragon and I’m curious if she worked the same way! Like her hands spark up and she breathes the flammable gas and now that she’s sick and coughing can no longer expel that gas!! Idk probably looking too deep but still interesting

I predict Marie will be able to save the supers from the virus by being able to detect the virus in the blood and be able to pull it out from their body’s.

Well Vought most Def know about the woods, Ashleigh references it in Episode 2, but I agree that Shiiti is taking it beyond what Vought has in mind.

I think vought would be cool with the virus. Stan Edgar wanted to get out of the superhero business and into the pharmaceutical business. They realized how destructive the supes were with their unchecked power and how much collateral they caused. What better way to control homelander and get out of the supe business then with a deadly virus that targets the supes. And then vought makes a cure that will save supes but leave them depowered making them look like the Hero’s and a good pharmaceutical company. Win all around for vought
