@@RToast13 I noticed that too, after [DEFINITELY NOT WATCHING THESE TWO VIDEOS ON REPEAT FOR A WHILE]. In Kiss Me, the guy trying to hack in clearly is investigating the case involving the boys. Why GourdCop pulls up a different case entirely is beyond me. Based on the error messages, and the ending of Kiss Me, I feel like it’s possible these dark entities, while having effects on the real world, are digital anomalies. Shooting the Kiss Me girl might have killed her physical form, but we clearly released something horrible when we were forced to listen to the song.

Yeah, but I think anybody with more than 1 brain cell can tell that when your computer glitches out just to say some very suspicious words to you, presumeably to block what was actually being said, we (the person on the other end) would most likely be somewhat freaked out by what was on the computer and perhaps "get away".

this HAS to be all centered with gourdchat (the application in general) because both "the boys are back" and "kiss me (kill me)" have some sort of reference to it, this song is litteraly centered around it and "kiss me (kill me)" has the main character serching up the incident, trying to download the files, it failing, and using the "gourd cop" to help, but in the end leading them to a trap

It just hit me how connected this and 'kiss me (kill me)' really is. They mention the 'woman that kissed the boy's face', which is the whole premise of 'kiss me (kill me)'. It makes me realize that the boys may indeed be parasitic hosts as well. They try so hard to convince the people behind the computers that they're normal, and that nothing horrible has happened, and even to go as far as to say that the parasite is a good thing, that it seems likely to me that they're either under the control of the same parasite, or one faction lords over the other. The boys could be demons, they could be simple monsters, or fellow parasitic hosts, but they appear to act differently and on their own, comparatively to the poor woman being overtaken in kiss me (kill me). This could just be a crackpot theory, but in some way other than gourdchat and gourdcop, they are intertwined.

P.S. If you pause your video and use to move the video at the very end, you find an image (albeit I'm pretty sure from friends) of one of the 'boys' with a large parasite placed upon his head. This appears to further the idea that they are of the same kind, or one type of parasite is subservient to the other.

I once beleaved that gourdchat (much like Halloween 3 in some way) had some sort of infused technology that signals the other infected creatures to the user or infects them into becoming one themselves. Also, I think the parasite itself is a different entity intirely, infecting hosts into becoming mutated monsters, while they are able to spread the mutation to other people. The boys coudl've been a collective entity of other humans that were victims of the parasite, fused together to form an amalgamation. They later on infected the lady in kiss me (kill me), turning her into a deformed corpse.

In both this and Kiss Me (Kill Me), the same dark text with red and blue highlights is used. I believe that it’s in some way connected to the parasite, since in Kiss Me (Kill Me) it seems to be used only when the girl isn’t speaking of her own will, as there’s a section after it appears where her speech returns to the regular blue text used to signify her words and she’s pleading for whoever she’s speaking to kill her while she’s down. It would make sense to assume the parasite is also affecting some of what’s said here following that same logic, seeing as the darkened text is solely to make the arrival of “The Boys” seem like a good thing.

I'd like to draw attention to the symbolism of gourds/carved pumpkins. Pumpkins and gourds were originally carved and set out to ward off spirits, right? But in this little series, they're the one attracting them, or are used as the thing that spreads them. Somebody in the newest song, Kiss me (Kill me) pointed out that the virus could be spread via air. The best way to spread it from an infected person would be to, yknow, blow their brains out. The impact would shatter the skull and release blood everywhere. Smashing pumpkins could also do this. Or carving them.

I've only seen this done in one other place and that was The Candy Mare where the pumpkins scattered everywhere became vectors for her to infect and be everywhere at once, and when someone smashed them, she got on everyone around her. It's a very lesser seen detail in that massive novella story, but it always struck me as neat. It's so utterly forgotten what they were and could be or do.

The most unnerving part of this video is the way that we can see around the side of the computer screen. It makes it feel like the person whose perspective we're seeing is potentially at risk at all times. The first time I watch this, I expected it to end with the camera turning, and there being a jumpscare at the very end.

Judging by, what we can assume to be a picture from the correspondent's webcam moments after his demise, that "the boys" seem to be some kind of insectoid-like beings that attach themselves to the heads of humans, presumably some kind of feeding behaviour. And the way they're talked about implies that they're a threat that some common folk are aware of, but were not anticipating their return for some time. Unfortunately impossible, as 'The Boys' is a singular entity rather than a group of boys as the name suggests (am grammar nerd) due to how the SPaG is used when describing how The Boys had their face (singular) slapped, it suggests there is one being, which is called 'The Boys' The Boy's - The boy (singular) owns this The Boys' - The boys (plural) own this. At first it could be multiple faces of multiple boys, but the word 'face' is singular, and therefore means 'The Boys' (singular) has one face (singular). (And yes it should be 'has' not 'have', it's one being.) Also, normally you wouldn't capitalize 'The' or 'Boys' so that suggests it's the name of something. 'The boys' isn't a proper noun.

I like to mention that the buttons for “accept” and “decline” turn to “embrace” and “them” when the connection is lost

I found out about this series from *Kiss Me (Kill Me)* and was disappointed to found out that this video and that one are currently the only videos of this series. I think I'm hooked, but there is no way of knowing if more videos will come out or how long until the next one (given the 3 year gap).

Day #32 I've successfully evaded The Boys for now. I think they might finally leave me alone. I'm in an old burnt out gas station. There's plenty of food despite how trashed the place is. Day #33 There's been knocking at my window all day. I'm too scared to check it. Day #36 The boys are back in town.

I legit get scared now when I hear the original... like "OH GOD WHAT'S HAPPENING?! THE BOYS HAVE CHANGED THE SONG!"

"You know that chick that got up and (slapped) KISSED The Boys' face?" that wording seems important given the sequel

"ThinLiz_76 is typing" I love this because The Boys Are Back In Town is from Thin Lizzy's album Jailbreak released in 1976.

I also think that when the dark parts happend text of the boys overlap the other name look in the corner if you want to see

What if The Boys are some sort of group trying to deal with the hivemind monster seen in "Kiss Me (Kill Me)", and are also hunting down anyone associated with or infected by the monster? As we see in the initial incident log in KMKM, the computer in this video is covered with the same black goo associated with the Kiss Me monster. Maybe The Boys know that the the individual in this video is about to be infected and are tracking them down to mercy-kill them. ThinLiz_76 is hiding "you", as they are also being infected and trying to spread the infection further. The girl that KISSED a Boy is the Kiss Me girl, or rather, tried to but was overpowered/exhausted in some way, leading to the hazmat suit guy (another Boy) to deal with that instance. Maybe I'm just rambling.

@@DudeTheNinja No, you're onto something.. There's also maybe something with the black on red letters when, in The Boys video, the other person lies? We see them appear when the girl is completely taken over by the KMKM. Maybe it's a sign of infection in people? I mean, in the boys, there's a mention of kissing in the black subtext so there might be something to those kinds of texts.

@@DudeTheNinja There's also most likely something anomalous with Gourdchat. There were alot of police reports on it and the gourd character in KMKM would push the person on the computer (Most likely a Boy and alternatively, the father of the person called out to the girl infected by KMKM) to continue watching and prevented people from talking them out of watching more.
