It's a nice (but pretty small) trailer, and at this price, the target buyer is who, exactly? At $137K for the base, why would a buyer be concerned about towing with a smaller vehicle? For the same money or less, you could buy a very capable full-size pickup or SUV and a larger and better-equipped Airstream.

mainstream trailer manufacturers should take some layout/design cues from this thing. a practical and functional trailer with some thought to design need not cost 200k

These are beautiful looking trailers, but that price point is ridiculous! It’s as much as an actual house! I think if you’re appealing to the wealthy, they’d probably spend their money on a Prevost RV, not a small trailer. Where do the super wealthy go camping?

Right, target audience is definitely the wealthy, but consider what people spend on a V8 tow vehicle for a $80+k airstream. The base edition isn’t nearly as bad at around $150k. A family can safely tow this with their existing minivan, 2300lbs and a low center of gravity. How many used airstreams are there on the market and how many of these Bowlus RCs? Zilch. Long term value. Our 1934 still rolls beautifully. No glue, real wood. Google what the last old one sold for.

Your kidding me. Over 200k for this tiny weird looking shiny mirror. This is just a toy for the bored rich people who want even take it out of the drive way. You can spend 53k on an Oliver Travel Trailer which is a real off the grid trailer. It's just a retro toy to say I have one. Yea, if you have 200k to spend, your not going to be camping in this thing, but instead get a suite with a hot top. This thing is joke.

That's a dent magnet. Imagine shelling out 200k and your dream attracts dents like hail from the heavens and disrespectful people smacking into the hull and dent-o-tize the dream gone bad. Not happening cause 200k can be used to buy a new 2500 sqf home and a new travel trailer that doesn't dent.

This appears to be nothing more than a BLATANT ad for this company! I'm really disappointed that you've completely sold your journalistic integrity for a palmful of silver :(

It was like watching an infomercial. Lost a bit of respect for this channel now. The use of a Bentley to tow the thing was really cheesy.

You can buy a hell of a nice motor home for that price. Don't know who would be interested in buying this overpriced trailer. Only making 50. Good luck getting it repaired. That rear end looks super fragile. I can picture an owner backing that pointy end into something. It would probably just be a collectors item. Hang onto it for 50 years if you live that long.

Nice but very overpriced, especially for something that let’s face it is copying the original Airstream. Some great features but I’d get an Airstream over this any day. To me Airstream interiors are far nicer they’re also far more aerodynamic. The flat end of the Bowlus is towed into the wind which is as unaerodynamic and un-fuel efficient as it possibly could be, what’s with that?!… Especially for what you’re paying you get two bunks at the narrow end like a small boat…really?!..
