I read the same book by Van Kampen years ago and agreed with the premise. It is pretty plain that the Olivet discourse was taught to Christians because Christ warned that we would be hated on account of his name. Only Christians are called by Christ's name, so we will at least see the abomination of desolation, though we are not destined to wrath. "Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by." Isaiah 26:20

​@@RaptureofSaints Revelation 6:16 identifies when the wrath begins, and indeed uses orges. Those who are not of God hide, those who are Christians lift up their heads and do not shrink back. That is why a pre-wrath rapture position makes sense. The anti-Christ is revealed at the midpoint and, as stated above, it is clear from Jesus' teaching those Christians alive at the time will see him revealed and the abomination spoken of by Daniel. Those who know their God will resist him and war will continue to the end. I'm totally fine and pleased if God removes his people early, but trying to work on myself to prepare for what one cannot endure without his grace and protection.

I agree with you Lady G, the False Pre Trib Fable is not Scriptural in any way and was never ever Taught by any Man of God in Scripture! The Pre Trib Fable goes against all that Gabriel, Daniel, Isaiah and Joel and Jesus and Paul and Matthew and Mark and Luke as well as John Taught the Church!

I am sorry for your wife. Given that COVID has made it that those hospitalized cannot have family members with them, I pray that she is not feeling alone and/or afraid. I also pray that those caring for her are competent, kindhearted and trustworthy. I, for one, think it is scary that hospital patients are no longer able to have anyone with them who can advocate for them (esp if they are in a situation where they cannot be their own advocate.) If that had been my situation 6 years ago, while I was on a ventilator in the ICU, I would likely have died.

My wife and I will be praying for Amy. Please keep us informed on her situation.

One of the arguments with a pre tib rapture I've had with people. They say the rapture comes before the tribulation because we won't see the wrath of God. I keep trying to explain, "you are right! We do escape God's wrath, but God's wrath is not the same as tribulation! I also say that the early church went through persecution. Some were martyred. Throughout biblical history none have escaped hard times. Some were protected. God continues to say, "Do not fear. The Lord thy God is with you" it doesn't say, "Do not fear. You won't have to go through that" I've tried sharing my evidence & have heard more than once, "don't send it. I won't look at it. Makes me want to cry. 😢 Why are some so adamant that Jesus takes the church out? Another point. They think the church is seperate from Israel. All who are born again (jew & gentile) is the church. THEN....Matthew 24 they say, "Jesus was talking to Jews" well, duh, the deciples were Jews. Most believers then were Jews. I love your teachings. Scriptures seem clear to me!

Prayers for your family Pastor.

The seals are mostly overlapping events and not sequential. The plagues are sequential. Understanding this, helps clear up a lot of timing issues. Additionally, some Scriptures skip the Great Tribulation period and the 2nd Coming and focus on the very end of the world and the very last day events and the Great White Throne Judgment Day. Understanding this also clears up a lot of the confusion.

I hope your wife is ok! My Precious Wife was hit with Cervical C last year. One of the most traumatizing experiences of my entire life. But thankfully the Lord was looking after us. We made it through it and it could have been a lot worse. Glory to the Lord. I thank him so much for getting us through. I am praying for all, of you.... I also want to extend my gratitude and appreciation to everything you guys are doing. I'm with you until the end. Thank you.

Amen! Jesus will be Coming at the End of the Age and a New Age will then begin with Jesus the King of Kings and Lord of Lords Reigning from His Throne in Jerusalem! Blessed and Holy are all that will partake in the First Resurrection at Christs Coming when Satan is Bound and the Beast is Destroyed and Jesus Cleanses His Kingdom of all things that Offend and do Iniquity!

@@MacoyCafe Amen! What a Day of Rejoicing when Jesus comes with all that have died and rest in Him and comes with all of His Fiery Angels and the First Resurrection takes place! Satan will be bound for the First Time in History! The Beast will be Destroyed! All of the Kingdoms become Christs and Jesus Cleanses His Kingdom of all things that Offend and we will see Jesus Trample the Wine Press of His ORGE! We will see Zechariah 14 become a Reality! We will sit with our King!

Concerning the (chronological) order of seals, trumpets & bowls: if you try to see these as a series of 21 "events", you're bound to run into trouble, because certain events seen in the seals seem to be repeated in the trumpets & bowls. And the question we should be asking is “are we really looking at this all as it ought to be understood?” Well, if the seals are seen as a type of "table of contents" for the rest of the Book of Revelation, then this problem (of repetition) pretty much vanishes. If you (falsely) consider the table of contents of a book to be a regular chapter of the book, instead of an oversight of what is to come, then it will seem like the book is unnecessarily repeating itself. What’s quite interesting in this regard is that the seals correlate pretty exactly to what Jesus said would occur in Mt 24 (& they even appear in the same order!). And it seems to me that this in itself should be a “tip-off” that the seals represent a type of "book oversight" / "table of contents" for the End Times. The first 4 seals can all be seen as things that amount to “birth pains” in Mt 24 - perhaps occurring before the midpoint of the last “week.” The 5th seal (with the persecution of the saints, paralleled by the trumpet judgments) describes what the Great Tribulation is all about (comparing Dan 9:27 with Mt 24:15 & 21 makes it clear that the “middle of the week” is when that will commence). And finally, the bowl judgments (God's wrath - to which we're "not appointed") will not begin until after the resurrection & rapture of the saints - which will be accomplished "immediately after the Tribulation" (Mt 24:29-31). Would it be all that surprising if the “marriage feast of the Lamb” were to be held during this period? (perhaps explaining the time periods mentioned in Dan 12:12 &/or v.13). And then, after the marriage feast - the triumphant Return of the King with His angels & His saints - would occur, amounting to the culmination & end of God’s wrath.
