His father was a High Court judge, while his brother is currently a Supreme Court Judge.
As a fellow Allahabadi, I felt immensely proud and enlightened to know about our city. Our kids must know what gem of a city it is and we must take her legacy forward.

Inke paas knowledge ka bhandaar hai, I can watch his interview on repeat mode, Tigmanshu sir's interview on "Slow" With Nilesh Mishra was superb. Movie kaisi honi chahiye wo inke Hasil movie dekhne ke baad hi pataa chalaa aur tab se leke aaj tak Irfan khan mere favorite actor the aur rahenge humesha ke liye.

I just love the fact he is not here to please anybody...asked about mumbai city and its food,he frankly said he dislikes both of them...how many outsiders working in Mumbai will have the guts to say so

I was working for BITV around that period and I had watched Hum Bombay nahi jayenge series. It was wonderful. Appreciate Tigmanshu since then. He is a great director of our times
