The majority of the band have no apparent Irish ancestry. There's a few actual Dubliners in the band. Shane has Irish parents, born and grew up in England. They're a London Irish band. People who came together with a love of Irish music and punk. There's the alchemy. The first band I ever saw over 30 years ago, as a 15 year old.

What I love about the scene is they're all cops working the same beat and yet they all have their individual flaws and personal shipwrecks. But they come together when one of them has fallen both violently and awkwardly. They share in the camaraderie in the oath and the badge. They drink to Oblivion in the name of solidarity and loyalty 🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃
