The fact that I always assumed this was a V12 is a testament in and of itself of how good it sounds

v12s sound like 2 inline 6s or two v6s ran together at the same time creating either loud raspy distortion or loud high pitch harmonization

V12's and a inline six often sound the same. Glorious!❤❤

I love the M1, unique because where else will you find an inline 6 mid engine car.

Probably my favorite racecar of all time. The sound, looks, liveries, and so on just work so well on this car. I know I can’t afford an M1 Procar, especially the one hand painted by Andy Warhol; but I would love to just see one of these in person one day.

273 standard, to 477bhp in race spec naturally aspirated. When turbocharged up to 1000 bhp.

For some reason 580 is stuck in my head, but who knows where that came from.

If M1 would've been built today it would've been a disaster of weird shapes, unnecessary crap and a load of eco restrictions.
