i think it looks great! I mean we cant expect an electric car to follow the same designs as gas cars. Gas cars look the way they do cuz it's built around the drivetrain and other components etc. But with a totally different drivetrain/layout, electric cars open the industry to new designs. Let them push boundaries and explore. We didnt get to where we were now without many failed car designs. Cyberpunk designs here we come. Who needs 2 headlights. 1 wide led is stronger than my two halogens lol

Totally agree that we should explore new designs without the limitations of ICE architecture. Still, good proportions and lines are important. Just because you can do out of the box doesn’t mean you shouldn’t adhere to good design principles
Got to test drive this car at a BMW Mountainview. WOW! Was stunned
That "wiiiiiiiiii" in the end is what BMW should use as a throttle noise😂😂💯

I'd honestly choose this over a Tesla Model X Plaid. The Falcon doors are a cool gimmick, but they also contribute to most of its service issues and BMW knows way more about build quality.

Great video once again Miles! The IX M50 really is a fun electric performance EV to drive around. How I wish it looked better, but I guess this is what new Beamers are going to look like in the future. And also to strike a coincidence when you were talking about competition for the IX M50, as you were talking about the Tesla Model X, one was seen at 20:25 😲 Model X‘s may be really expensive, but you see so many of them on the road.
Why would you want to subdue the wild styling! People these days want polarizing styling, while BMW enthusiasts might dislike the styling I think most normal car buyers might enjoy it Not sure why the open pore wood only exists on the center console area. They should have made the window buttons on the doors also with the same wood. It looks out of place otherwise considering the rest of the trim is aluminum

Perhaps not subdue, but redirect. I’m into a polarizing design if it has aesthetic merits. I like parts of the iX, but like the new M3/M4, the full picture lacks cohesion.
That door rattle when closed makes me cringe.
That's not supposed to be the grill design. A baboon rested its back side on the mold while it was in the design phase, and that's what it ended up to be.
6:09 This pass-through is the most ridiculous thing that can be existed in a car! Why? Am I driving a minibus? Or a luxury SUV?
The review was amazing and BMW in general is a solid car company. The iX is just not up there in terms of exterior design and overall shape..

Several modern EVs have redefined "quick," and for some, it could lead to issues.
130k is bit much.
Have to say not a huge fan of this BMW.
Why do you guys keep promoting real leather? There is nothing about it that is better and it is not as durable. Plus it costs more

If you have a tactile sense, you can immediately tell the difference in feel between genuine and artificial leather. That difference is a distinctly premium feel to many buyers

I'll take fault when it's due, but here, no amount of goading this platform allowed it to corner neutrally or oversteer (I attempted multiple times). Other reviewers have noted the same.

The screen is the ugliest thing in this suv. Shocked they couldn’t design a better looking one. Loos like they slapped it on.
you can t drive like that, Normal is that car full tracktion, if you want to slide, you need to turn it off.. I bet you arnt that good as driver.
