You know what when you do a cover and you get a permission from the songwriters. I'm guessing Rivers Cuomo in this case. Then he will always get the royalties, which is fair, because he wrote the songs .. However, people that do covers get performance royalties. Therefore you should be able to get piece of the cake, mister creator.
