Every few months i need to come back and listen to you play this song, take in your voice and your incomparable claw-hammer banjo playing. The scenery is wonderful too and reminds me of the trip my wife and i took in 2022 to Cape Breton Highlands National Park. i know it is not there but the North Atlantic headlands are beautiful wherever you were in Newfoundland. Maybe someday i will get all the way up there but it will have to be alone. My wife passed away in February so i have to cherish the memories, and listening to beautiful sad songs helps.

I notice that your banjo doesn't have any frets above 17. It looks carved out at the top of the neck. I presume that this is so that you can play with your hand over the neck, producing a mellower sound than it would if you played with your hand closer to the bridge. Is there a name for this kind of banjo or is it just a mod you've had done? Really nice playing and singing too.
