About Jackson:
Jackson began back in the late 1970s, when heavy music experienced a flamboyant and virtuosic resurgence in popularity and a small Southern California guitar repair shop became the epicenter of a new level of shred-approved excellence. Ever since then, Jackson guitars have been universally lauded as the metal guitars; the shred machines-highly original high-performance instruments of distinctive style and formidable substance. From metal’s chart-topping peaks to its darkest recesses, for discerning guitarists all over the globe, Jackson is the only way to go.

This guy does such a good job explaining his process. Best guitarist in metal rn. Keep at it Brandon!
The riffs and leads from that last album are absolutely insane. Brandon is the man!
One of my favorite Guitarist. It’s all subjective as all art is. I just appreciate his style, technical abilities, and his compositions. Melodic. He understands Theory. I appreciate that he shares his knowledge. Genuine.
Brandon's description of what was played over the chord progression, note choices, etc. was spot on!! Love this type of lesson, super helpful.
all hail the best guitar player of the 21st century.

Ever heard of Jeff loomis,Chris broderick, Jason Richardson??!!!wouldn't have commented this but you should have said "one of the best" Instead of " The best".

@@aritrapandit1001 I heard of those guys and I still think Brandon is better. Tye reason why is that he's far more advanced at his current age than those guys were at his age. Ill take Brandon Ellis at 28 years old over those guys at 28. Although I think Jeff Loomis is the best 7 string guitarist. Jeff Loomis isn't really known much for his 6 string work. You can say Arch Enemy but they don't utilize him

@@TYLERtheMAGGOT1 Jason richardson is just 30 years old and there are so many more that i just typed those names that clicked instantly then. But considering your point, Tim henson is just 28 years old too. Yeah he belongs to a completely different genre, though anyone with proper sense of guitar playing would hold him even higher, imo.
Mans got so much gain in his tone that it bleeds in to his muscles. Those capped delts

Really liked it how Brandon explained the applied cadences in this song. it’s not always about jamming, having a skeleton as a base can make life so much easier in song writing 👌
Love the breakdown in technical terms. After starting to learn some theory, I really like approaching arrangement and layering from an analytical point of view using that little bit of theory that I’ve learned so far. As always, great playing and great sound. Sick guitar to man!

Anyone know what string gauge Brandon uses for C# standard?
@jairocerritos3213

I use 11-56 for Drop A#/C Standard. I used to use 12-60. Both sets from Daddario. I'm guessing he uses one of those sets. Especially considering that he doesn't use a wound G.
Fucking sick riff! Everything on that album kills!
What gauge strings are you using and i have the pro series coming this week , and want to play this style for this guitar . thank you in advance

Ellis uses 11-56 for tuning in C Standard. He's playing Dunlop strings right now, if the brand matters.

Cool stuff. I love my Kellys but they are probably the most unbalanced guitars in history. Especially tilting away from your body towards the floor. You can see it even here and Ellis is pretty thin, when you have a bit of a belly its even worse.... I had to move both strap buttons in my Kellys to make them work (with much success I would say) and I am surprised Jackson just doesn't go for some trial and error to figure this out.
Elisabeth Short was murdered and dismembered. This Brandon Ellis puke names his band after the murder. Real class act.
