Love how this is a 90s band but sounds like it could've been released in the 60s. Classic sounds never die😄
This is one of those bands that as soon as you heard one of their new songs for the first time, its like you'd already been singing it your whole life. Music doesn't have this anymore.

I agree, In terms of hitting notes, he's no Dio, but he's just got that sass, and that drawl. He might not have great technique or range, but in terms of just bringing that attitude, energy, and, if I dare apply this term to a bunch of white boys... straight up swag... he does it better than anyone.

Steve Marriott decided he was sick of English blues-rock, and decided he was going to base his rock in SOUL. He forms the Small Faces with three other guys, but despite charting, he's not making any money. He quits, forms Humble Pie, and continues the sound. Won't get into the whole story because it's depressing. Fast forward to the early 90s, and an A&R guy is watching the Black Crowes live, and he's like "ugh... lots of energy, good chemistry, but they're not... they need better influences." He passes Chris Robinson a tape of Humble Pie, says he represents a major label, tells him to listen to it and if he likes it, maybe they'll work together some time.

I remember first hearing the Beatles on the radio when my parents were away, I must have been 10-11 years old and I ran throughout the hose screaming, it was like I found something completely new. And then music changed forever, until it became complacent. Then in 1990 at the age of 47, I heard this song by the Black Crowes, and I began to realize that Rock N Roll, straight up Rock N Roll was about to be risen from the dead. The Black Crowes are responsible for real music coming back to the fore in a time of Boy Bands, RAP, and Country music that was anything but what it was meant to be. The Black Crowes woke up a sleeping world! Thank God above.
Just saw them live. One of the best concerts I've ever been to!! The energy was pure electricity the entire show. 🤘
My garage band back in the late 90s loved playing The Black Crowes... Rich is most underrated rhythm guitarist in rock 'n' roll... they were the best songs in our set list..... we played jealous again, twice as hard, hard to handle, and seeing things… Just brilliant straight through Rock 'n' roll rhythm and blues

Such a great band so happy my dad introduced me to them at a young and that I grew up with this kind of music, no rock bands release music like this anymore.
Congratulations for the great song Black Crowes!
*Going to see them open up with this tomorrow night!* So pumped up. Great music.
