This is one of the most wonderfully put together songs, the layers, the swell of the guitars coming in, the soulful vocals, the guitar solo duel, so much going on and then those backing vocals and piano and organ, and you can hear every note! It is so beautifully produced, performed and arranged

This is a very special album to me. Amorica as well. I need both for road trips. Both are so deep and dynamic!

I saw the Crowes in a small bar while home on leave in the early 90's. I stood in line with Chris, between sets, waiting for a beer like everyone else. He was very generous to the fans and a "regular guy." Their first album was just getting airplay at that time. I heard "She Talks to Angels" for the very first time that night, like most of us. The following night, I saw them open for ZZ Top at the Joe Louis Arena. Getting to see the Black Crowes in such a small venue was a highlight of my youth and an evening I'll never forget. That bar, as well as the Joe Louis Arena, are both gone now. Getting old sucks.

That’s awesome! Saw them in my early twenties 3 times. I saw Chris two years ago in Philadelphia. He played all the Crowes music and still can sing his ass off!

I’ve been a Crow-head for 30 years. This song redeems the 90’s, musically. All of their music is a huge sigh of relief. Their sound brings joy ❤️

Thank the Lord for the Black Crowes, what a crappy world it would be without such legendary musicians. I have a Black Crow Soul, and I'll never change

I think I've listened to this song at least a dozen times tonight. So many memories of this point and time of my life. So much relevance today.

One of the best arranged blues- gospel songs I have ever heard. I never get tired of hearing it because of it's complexity and the energy that Chris and company brought it to life!!

So many memories! I've been listening to this song since I was a kid but the emotions are always the same! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

They went and grabbed two sistas in the middle of choir rehearsal and told them to get on the mic because their voices are pure gospel, honey. This song attracted me because of all its bluesy soulness, and Chris' voice is straight fire. The groove goes so deep. It's so hard to believe this was almost 30 years ago but I still wear them out on my playlist rotation. 💗🔥🔥

Chris Robinson is one of the most Underrated SOUL singer...wow!!!

I won a dance contest (I was only one participating probably) in 5th grade, and the prize was The Black Crowes and The Cars on cassette tape! I listened to both tapes on my Walkman hundreds of times. Then I saw them live when I was 12 in Savannah, Ga! They are so unusual for that time period.. Their style of blues rock music was already out of fashion for a decade, hair metal was HUGE but on its last legs, and grunge lurked on the horizon. Ah, the memories. 2021, now 41, and love it more now than ever.

I DON'T REMEMBER HOW MANY TIMES I'VE SEEN THEM. WHEN THEY WERE JUST STARTING OUT I SAW THEM AT A CLUB IN HOUSTON, TEXAS. THE A/C WAS OUT BUT HE SAID ,,"IF Y'ALL WANNA STAY WE'LL PLAY" IT WAS 100 DEGREES OR HOTTER IN THERE BUT THEY PLAYED & CHRIS DANCED LIKE HE DOES. IDK HOW HE DIDN'T PASS OUT. I WAS RIGHT UP FRONT. SWEATING MY BUTT OFF AND I WASN'T MOVING AROUND LIKE THEY WERE. I'M SURPRISED I DIDN'T PASS OUT. THAT CLUB STAYED PACKED THE ENTIRE TIME THEY PLAYED. TALK ABOUT A DEDICATED BAND. I watched this in 1993, as I was beginning to get good at learning to play rock tunes by ear on the guitar, and it just blew my mind. I thought to myself that making music in such settings with my buddies was basically the apex of what life could ever offer to us mortals. I also recorded this video from a TV show (there was no MTV available for me at the time) on a VHS tape, so I could watch it before going to school. I saw Black Crows open for Grateful Dead in April 1995 in Tampa, Fl. I was 20. From what I remember it was amazing even in Jerry's declined state. Crows blew my mind that day. Truly an incredible live band.
