A few things: The Black Crowes are an amazing live act. Sven is so underrated. He makes bass sound cool again. I really noticed the difference with the band not having their usual female backing singers.

TimB4305 did you like it without the female back up singers? I think I did. I don’t mind the female back ups, but sometimes their mic was to loud

Agree 100% The female background singers were unheralded all-stars of their earlier tours. Those songs really NEED their contribution to be fully realized.

Being a Crowes fan since the begining and having seen them close to 30 times it was pretty clear and more importantly sad that they weren't as cohesive on this tour. Jackie Green was good not great which played a part in them doing abbreviated versions of the songs they usually jam out. Having said all that I still didn't think this tour would be the end. Best live band!!

To be Fair, how do you replace Luther. How did Luther replace Mark? Big Chris fan, but it (CRB,) isn't the Crowes, and it hurts. Chris man study your rock n roll history. Page n Plant, Mick and Keith, Steven, and Joe, the list is endless, one ain't the same without the other. That's how it is. All the mushrooms in the world ain't gona change that. Apparently he's heavily into that, and that's ok, but you need your brother, get used to it.

I dont know man. Ive seen them around 25-30 times and I saw this tour and the show in Houston blew me away. Chris was having these best time Ive ever seen him have on stage. They were on it that night. Jackie was doing his thing...it was a little different but they sounded great.

I wonder what it's like to see a black and white show in person? :) :) All kidding aside "High Head Blues" sorely lacks Eddie and Mark. So hard to fill those shoes.

The Black Crowes: a real band. Coltrane would have jammed with them.
