The Bizarre Eating Habits Of The British Royal Family | Secrets Of Royal Kitchen | Absolute HIstory

Former Royal Chef Graham Newbould who was once a chef on the Royal Yacht Britannia for the Queen reveals what goes on in the kitchens of the famous House of Windsor.
From TV suppers at Buckingham Palace, to poached salmon caught and cooked at the Royal Family’s Scotland retreat at Balmoral, Graham shows the viewers how to cook food fit for a Queen. He goes back on board the Royal Yacht Britannia where he makes good use of the Royal ice cream machine, and even recreates the wedding breakfast he helped serve up for the Prince of Wales and Princess Diana. He also gives a fascinating insight into the day-to-day food in a Palace - from eight sided cucumber sandwiches to a special dish of liver and rice, a firm favourite with the ever-present Royal corgis.

Prince Charles make that happend him self, if he was not in love with Diana and do not want her as his wife then why he married her??? To became a king after his mother he not suppose to be married or have kids... King George was not married when he became a king was just forced to abdicate because W. Simpson was a divorced woman... Prince Charles can do different in his life not to use Diana... In life people most be honest no matter if they are rich or poor, he want Camilla then he most do the right thing like king George do for the love of his life... I think Diana car cruh was not an simple accident the problem there was that she was together with Dodi that was a muslim and the Royal family hate his father... And then another problem was that the mother of an future king can't be married to a muslim all because of religion razism... Then with Harry wedding they try to show razism is not there.... Prince Charles is the one get a mistake and Camilla do her big part in all that, the Queen or royal family not suppose to force Charles to married Diana and let him follow his heart and married Cammila at the right time and all this big scandal never happend or at least leave Diana alone to live her life... The people love her not only in England but all over the world she had a very clean and good soul. Her death was a big mistake the Queen suppose to help Diana when she go to her and ask for help but look like in the way the Queen turn her back on Diana is to help Charles reach to the divorce and then the Queen accept Camilla... What a big joke behind the stage the only one to pay for that was Diana with her life and Dodi too... In the history of Royalty scandals England is the top of the list and still they don't learn one simple thing; Love has the power even in they hearts and there is nothing to do about it... If Diana never die the scandal and hate for Charles and Camilla never reach to this stage. Is only my opinion....

@@kennyvr1392 That's sad but Prince Charles was not strong enough to said: If is not Camila is nobody else and refuse to marry Diana if he never love her and again the Queen not suppose to accept the wedding even after Diana's death. If they have rules to follow then most stick with with. In all this mess Diana pay with her life she was to young to understand in what she was put her self but look so she was the only one in love. When she go to the Queen ask for help to save her wedding she never get help is Prince Charles mistake once you get married and have kids you have a family... But he never stop go around Camila as I said he most never accept to get married that was the right thing to do. In the world people get divorce is nothing wrong in that if love is gone or understanding id not there... Diana's death was a mistake and in the world people thing was not a simple accident and Diana said her self she was thinking that someone will kill her. Even back in the history if you read the England royals was the most once to have many scandals and they still talk about rules... Is they suppose to be the first once to stick with the law and rules and give the good example but they don't do that... In Diana and Prince Charles story he is the one to blame together Camila not Diana.

It's considered to have too much rajas(passion) energy that tends to lead to an excess of lust and aggression(other spices are okay). One legend even speaks of them springing up where the blood of a demon fell on the Earth. Admittedly, I love both garlic and onions because I grew up eating them in food as well as making medicine out of garlic. Crushed/peeled/raw cloves soaked in honey will kick alot of infections in the nads. Take with a little of the garlic infused honey mixed in milk as well as a little food to shield the stomach from unpleasant effects when you eat a clove.

Realistically taxpayers don't. Government funding to the royal family is a percentage of the Crown Estate's revenue, which is comes from the official holdings of the royal family. Those revenues go to the government, and the government then grants an amount which is a fixed percentage of said revenue to the royal family. Technically, that makes that revenue the government's money or "taxpayer's", to give back to the royal family which is part of the arrangement to essentially make the Crown dependent on the people's government. But if you think about it, if they hadn't given up those earnings from the royal estate, they'd actually not take a single cent from the government and be better off for it.

Unless there's a direct threat to safety/life like Fugue or brains or raw pig blood, she shouldn't turn her nose up. Btw, I'd be thrilled to death to get authentic world class Italian pasta and gelato. I adore the Prince's organic approach but I'd sure hate to cook for him or be the poor sap lugging the veggies wherever in the world. The Queen seems way less fussy.

Don’t forget this is from the 1990s. Prince Harry once dared the queen to eat a donner kebab and chips for his birthday a couple of years ago when she asked him what he wanted as a present. He forgot about it and a few weeks later Prince Phillip texted him a photo of the Queen enjoying her takeaway. The takeaway in question was given an NDA to sign, and they were phoned with the order, the delivery driver was let in to the palace gates and was told by a footman it was for Her Majesty.

@obrbob194 I hate to intrude on this weird argument, but pointing out that you think the fat Tonga king is rich and could buy Tom's family (I doubt it) does not make Tom wrong. Just because King Tonga is rich does not make him less fat, nor make it less amusing that he is so fat, nor prevent King Tonga from dying of obesity-related illness. Also, King Tonga is nowhere near a billionaire. He's only worth about 1 million dollars/pounds. Look it up. trendcelebsnow.com/tupou-vi-net-worth/

Banquet cooked by 20 royal chefs. With 50 Butlers on hand. meanwhile back on Earth. There are people living on the streets starving. I totally understand she is our queen and she has standards to keep. But that doesn't take away the fact that there are people going hungry in this rich country of ours. I just wish the food was a bit more distributed amounts of poor. There are people out there heavily relying on food banks. While the Queen eats so lavishly. Even though dogs have food cooked by chef. Don't you think that's a slight insult on the starving . Just makes you wonder. What an unbalanced country we live in. There are children going to school hungry. Just brings a tear to my eye.

Let us all remember that the most wise consumers, as with the most healthy foods- snacks, meals, and such are in fact a process. The best, most royal drink for all the chefs! Hurrah! Dearest Royal Family, Kindest regards, keep remembering as always the importance of good, healthy foods- and chefs as well. Keep up the great work! Sincerely yours, R.J.G.

This entire video is about the PECULIARITIES of people. IN this case it's about ROYALS but each country has it's own. For instance I made a friend in the museum where I was the curator. she helped me in the office. She was 86 years old and Italian. Since I love Italian food and I'm also Mexican, we talked about cooking Italian food. she told me how much she loved the way she made Spaghetti sauce but it had been YEARS since she'd had it. I asked her, WHY? She was now living with her son and his family. Her daughter-in-law cooked NOTHING but frozen dinners because she could not stand the house getting all "smelled up with cooking"!!! So, I invited her and another friend of ours for her to cook in MY KITCHEN so she could make the spaghetti she loved and we learned from her. Instead of sausage, she made it with pork neck bones. It was delicious. And her daughter-in-law is MISSING the beauty of cooking. Nothing smells better than opening your door and the fragrance of delicious food comes to your nostrils. Instead, she would disinfect her kitchen right away after cooking so no lingering smells would be left after the frozen dinners. And you think the ROYALS are WEIRD????
