Due to Puerto Rico's unique tax laws, crypto bros and the super wealthy are moving in droves. Puerto Ricans are being priced out of their own island. Its a topic worth diving into at some point in my opinion.

Like Transmog, prices for a seemingly random piece of gear, price gouged up to 50K or even more, just because it might be that missing piece of a set that someone might be collecting. I remember those same pieces being under 100g before Cata. I started playing a month before WotLK hit, then quit for 4 years at the end of Cata, came back for a couple of months at the launch of Legion, but never got my chars beyond BfA content, got back to it a couple months ago again, but same story, too lazy to start on the new quest chains, so i am still in BfA limbo. Active players do generate gold easily, but i am not that active, so it's just a bit bizarre to look at the depressingly realistic reflection of society, haha Especially considering that Bannon was personally involved in that kind of stuff. EDIT: forgot to say what i thought was the most annoying thing about that era, the gold spammers spammed Trade chat, whispered, then Blizz got those under control, then they started summoning corpses in Orgr, spelling out the goldspam site name, kinda hilarious, but they were so persistant, we also used to make fun of them being slave workers being paid nothing to annoy the hell out of everyone. In both cases people are speculating about the extent of the future applicability of the underlying value, and are just being too optimistic, but the actual value is clearly non-zero, just not "THAT high". In the case of crypto, the main value comes from 1) Immutable trustless contracts (no other way to do them, useful in some cases) 2) More stable and uncontrolled currency in authoritarian states or hyperinflation states (it's less stable right now than USD, but much more stable than Venezuelan or Turkish currency for example... and gets more stable in the future), and 3) Countries that use USD as a reserve currency get effectively robbed by the US when the US prints money and doesn't spend any on them. It’s part of the MO of child abusers that they’ll groom the most compliant to assist in grooming other kids and to help normalize the abuse and I feel like to some degree this is probably what happened with Brock given how young he was when he first met Collins-rector and worked at den. In other words I do think he was very likely also abused.

It's so good as the expression is almost always use in a negative way. I mean we never say 'Those 2 got along well and they're both charity volunteers. Well birds of a feather!' Right? or is it just me? Anyway, your line gives the expression such an ominous feel. It's just genius and I am totally going to use it.
