Heavily Modulated DAW. God damn... Not that I don't have anything wrong with it, I'm just not an intellectual about it yet. Also don't have the patience. It's been 1 year of service with me owning BitWig and I gotta say, it keeps getting better and better! My favorite DAW. Really easy to use when it comes to producing music. :)
you do the best Bitwig videos and I cannot thank you enough for them.

F1 screen, excellent tip. I’ll be using that going forward.
I don't know if anybody has told you yet, but you're hell of a sound designer brother

thank you ❤❤❤
Thank you for all the amazing Bitwig content. Merry Christmas :)
Rhythming up your pads, F1, this is just brimming with excellent info! Keep em coming! Big fan!
What a fantastic upgrade and the resyntheis options are right up my alley. I knew I made the right choice when I bought Bitwig studio 3 but this even adds more then I insisted on!
Lovely, that string patch was magical 👍
Amazing video as always, great examples there right off the bat. I can't wait to try this with vocally basses too.
Fantastic tutorial as always!
Great stuff as always. I really liked the two different examples near the end (resynthesis of a single C3 string sample at extreme pitches, and using drums to "percussify" a pad). Looking forward to your presets feature those two use cases.
Very interesting tutorial! It's great to see how you can be very creative and produce fantastic results if you care to spend the time to fully understand the tools at your disposal. Keep up the great work, love your videos!
Very awesome, Merry Christmas to all of us : ).
Great tutorial as always! You gave me some great ideas to experiment with.
sounds amazing
Inspired! Want to drop everything right now and try to recreate your patches.
Awesome. As usual
Very interesting and instructive - thanks!
That was awesome, really creative! And the F1/info tab, yeah, that should be an industry standard indeed! Best wishes for the holidays mate, wishes for a wonderful and creative 2020 as well!
Hi Robert another great tutorial Bitwig on gift Vocoder :) Happy holidays from Naples italy

I think he IS the source lol. Seems like he is armed with deep knowledge on sound design and turns every feature available around to discover the full potential.
And also i want this sounds you shown.
The 'cello' sounded amazing! Will you be releasing it on your github?
Sounds really organic with the resynthesis there are also some factory presets. Clicking on the lefthand folder Symbol it is a bit annoying that everytime an Audio receiver will be loaded. If you like bassy drifts and formant saw waves just moving parameters to create some complex movement of the partials that is the right place to look at. For beats usually it is enough to use from 4 to 8 bands to have a subtile effect. To have a really natural sound i often add some distortion but with a parallel setting or bitcrush now it is even easier to automate it and having more things with cableguys shaperbox crush and bitwigs amp and distortion. But be careful to load up too many amp devices they are a bit heavy on CPU. The CPU is dedicated for the gulfoss EQ to get recover from some heavy modulation. :)

All these great tips an he saves u 16$ on your subscription renewal
Hi Polarity, really great content here, thank you so much. Is the Cello preset available to download anywhere? Would love to dissect it and learn more about what's going on, it's such a satisfying sound. Cheers!

I think it’s on my Patreon somewhere..
What I wan to know, the intro sound and melody on this video, was it written with Bitwig?
Hollo from Russia
Can i use your discount code with bitwig winter special deal?
YOU ONLY USE BITWIG FOR MAKING BEATS/ OR DO YOU USE IT TO RECORD ARTIST MIX AND MASTER?
Thank you for the tutorial. This is a great starter vocoder to get people familiar with it until they can get a real one.

I think it could be very powerful
i love your videos. the word parameter is pronounced parAAAmeta, not pAAAAramEEEter
I've connected many different things to and from the vocoder, and to me it just doesn't seem that usable. It also has fair amount of CPU hunger for what you get. Maybe I'm missing something. But I do very much appreciate it all your creativity in bitwig!

All vocoders need a nuanced touch
One thing I do not fully get yet: Did you use an actual audio recording of a cello as the carrier of which you then modify the character in real time, like the voice in the first example, or can it be played fully independantly via the keys and the mod wheel?

I used a phase-4 instrument as a carrier. Mod wheel changes both .. some vocoder settings and phase-4 parameters. It´s completly synthesized .. no samples used.

@@PolarityMusic Very impressive! I'd love to see some downloads from you as starting points for further experimentation. I am very much into granular sampling, resynthesis and virtual (acoustic) modeling.! It can really make synths sing. My favorite hardware synth is the Technics WSA-1 but with Bitwig I am at last able to build my own "instruments" and you prove there is still al lot more to learn and dicover. :-)
