Hi FLEB I just barely found your Chanel but I wanted to say that your Chanel is incredible and I can't believe you have so much patience to complete those tricky puzzles and I know I don't have the kind of patience but I think that's how I found ur Chanel 😆 anyway keep up the great work!
Very unique puzzle solver...and unique puzzles. This takes a very advanced mindset and patience

you are awesome! I love your puzzles you crack.
hi puzzlers
I'm so happy you aploaded
I thought it will be circle because I know biscuits are circle
Wow that is an elegant design. Thanks for sharing
Your videos are amazing!!! Never knew these crazy puzzles existed. (:D)
Wouldn't another solution, or rather infinite amount of solutions, be to put the pieces orthogonal to the plane the paper is on yet co-planer with each other? At least by the descriptions of the rules you gave.
@Calimariyum
7 жыл бұрын
You mean the pieces stand up straight on top of eachother, aka on top of the line, then it would form a symmetric shape across that line. While this is true, this type of solution can be seen as a trivial solution to the problem since it will always be symmetric in this way. The goal of the puzzle is to find a symmetric answer, but it is assumed that what it is really asking for is a nontrivial solution to the puzzle. The puzzle solution you bring into account here really has nothing to do with the puzzle pieces themselves. The puzzle is only a puzzle because it is (and should be) assumed that the shape of the pieces influence what the answer could be, therefore, under this constraint, your solution, while valid in the sense it follows all the explicit rules, is not a true solution to the puzzle.

A better reply is to demand this puzzle meet two perpendicular planes of symmetry-- the one intended -and- the trivial one parallel to the paper.

Love the videos, keep it up. Before I saw the solutions, I had a tough about stacking the pieces to create a solution. In the future, having a clarification about stacking being permitted or not would be helpful .
Fresh ass spoiler break animation! Cool unusual puzzle too.
Wow , a very intriguing puzzle looks very easy but difficult to solve. You just earned a sub. Cheers!

you can fold the paper at the dotted line until both sides are touching the puzzle. It will be simetrical on both side in a bent space.
When I heard the name FLEB I instantly subscribed...

"Bitten biscuit" I expected it to be circle in shape.
That's sweet! Both of the outcomes look like set symbols from magic the gathering. The first one fate reforged and the second one Khans of tarkir!
Wow its really amazing puzzle bro..... Supetb idea
This is very interesting. I've never considered puzzle making as a profession before.

I just watched all of your videos, makes me really interested in puzzles. It would be great if you could put links of where to buy these puzzles in your video description.
@FLEBpuzzles
7 жыл бұрын
I've been meaning to do that for a while. I'm hoping I'll get to it later today. Unfortunately, a number of these puzzles aren't available for sale. They were either made for a one-time event or only a few were made and they're highly sought after by collectors, but I'll try to get information up for the ones I know are mass produced.
I can see a third solution too!
There is a third solution if you can balance the pieces up right over the dotted line. Then they will also be cemetrical
I used to make maze marble puzzles when I was a kid?! I love puzzles?!
awesome stuff dude! i subscribed. I actually recognized this puzzle from another video I watched some other time. for a puzzle lover who has no easy accessability to a workshop, wood tool, or a community workspace, but who would like to take steps in this fascinating world of puzzle inventing or manufacturing.. would you recommend getting a small cnc machine for home use? or rather a lazer cutter?
@FLEBpuzzles
7 жыл бұрын
One way to start would be to make wire puzzles! You don't need a cnc machine or laser cutter, just some pliers and a wire! But if you want to get serious about making your own custom puzzles, you'll either have to spend a lot of money 3D printing, or learn woodworking. I've seen very few puzzles that aren't made one of those two ways. You could also use a cnc machine or laser cutter, but I think it might be harder, from a tolerance perspective, to get the puzzle to feel right. There are also a lot of puzzles which are just on paper, such as the entire puzzlehunt community!
that dotted line on that paper... made me want to rip it neatly and slowly..
"Hey guys im a puzzle designer" *clicking of the video*
A paper template would help all of us to make it ourselves.
I have to wake up in 4 hours oh mygod but these videos r so cool

Phil brain: kami no puzzle
there's also set them on their edges on the dotted line.
Neat!
i subscribed because the word fleb made me giggle
I think the problem with the puzzle is that it has two solutions. The puzzle would be more pure if it only had 1 intended solution. In chess problems, extra solutions that aren't intentionally thematically related to each other are considered "cooks" and void the validity of the composition. I think with a little more work the creator could have came up with shapes that only had 1 solution.
*mind blown*
aw man...i'm racking my brain how to incorporate this into my DnD game, since it strikes such a pleasing silhouette, but i can't quite think of a way to make it solvable without providing to much or too little info towards the solution.
you can place all the pieces on their side for a technically infinite amount of solutions
**stares at the smallest wooden piece** ... Monokuma...
ILUMINATE Triangles....everywhere!!
FLEB!!!😂More like...PLEB!!!
Just place the pieces on the line so all pieces are symmetrical and make it so they touch it's still a symmetrical shape
Do you have any videos on tips for designing puzzles? I'm a game design student, and puzzle design is something that just a bit above me. It's hard.
Every time i hear 'FLEB' I hear 'pleb'
God Dang It, I Though Mr Puzzle Is The Best Puzzler, But You Are!
he keeps on moving the pieces without stopping XD
This biscuits AHHH
WOw you're so good
I already see the thumbnail, and know what to do.
I checked the date first before watching the video.
Just an advice. The camera angle should be 90 degrees from above, so we can see better the symmetry you're trying to assemble.
Well, it does seem super easy once you know the answer! It would've driven me nuts to figure it out, though. I would've continued to try to somehow put the pieces flush together and that wouldn't have ever reached a solution.

It's actually very tricky! There's a good reason it's an award-winning puzzle.

For sure! I never knew there was a competition for things like this, but I suppose there's one for pretty much anything if you just know where to look...lol! Thanks for sharing!
What if you placed the pieces on top of each other and arranged them in such a way that, when you look down on it from above, it gives you a circle? Wouldn't that be symmetrical?
"my name is fleb" holy shit i almost died
I'm puzzled by the name Fleb.
you always say your a puzzle designer but i have watched a lot of your videos and have yet to see one that you have designed.. can you show some of your puzzles?

Sure! Most of what I design is related to puzzlehunts and puzzlehunt competitions. Here's one from a few years ago, where the answer is an English word or phrase: playdash.org/DASH7/puzzles/6-Potions%20and%20sabotage.pdf

That looks super hard LOL
Easy! Place them on their sides on the dotted line.
Ooo, slick. There's this instinctive desire to leave no interior gaps, but the challenge doesn't say that at all, does it?
@FLEBpuzzles

Right! There's a whole class of puzzles that try to find "psychological blindspots" to make it hard for you to solve. I recently solved a puzzle called the "Eccentric's Dream" whose solution was a dirty, dirty psychological trick.
the first 5 seconds i thought the solution would be placing them atop one another, creating a circle. Kinda seems like putting them in a certain orientation can do so. Maybe it is one of the solutions?
1:46 when u nearly say the wrong word
Omgg!! You sound just like Lester of Gta5!
Joined the Notification Club.
Couldn't another solution be to stack them so from top view it forms a circle? It looks like the pieces would align with no gaps "in" the circle.
