@@ZeroAxle George was fully for this as his NEW CANON media dispersal platform of his SW stories but then the 2nd game & thinking it over working on the animated shows, decanonized this worse than his meh 'maybe sounds ok' about EU comics & books. Like it's clear it will never be brought up or easter egged IMHO, sad but I have always sensed Filoni was kind of jealous of it and why he lifted so much TFU into his animated shows as his canon.

@@klyanadkmorr dave filoni was the one who destroyed the original EU but he says that yeah the eu wasnt canon and so he can take and pick and choose characters from the EU and insert it in his show the clone wars and changing there origins and characters but the thing is there was hierarchy of canon, there was G canon which is the 6 films aka the stand out canon aka the saga, then there is c canon which is basically the same continuity as the films but its not the same omega level as the films but it doesnt mean its not canon. But also of course it wasnt george lucas vision but the Lucasfilm officals says that the comics, books and video games were canon, Back before 2014. And its funny because in 2003 and 2004 there was the original clone wars which fits in the EU and the films and that show was george Lucas idea to create the original clone wars of 2003. but also when dave filoni did his 2008 he retcons not only the EU but even the clone wars 2003 show, and he said thay the films and TV show was the canon? So idk I believe like what you said that hes jealous and stuff about other existing star wars stories and stuff but also he never has new ideas like what I said he uses stuff from the clone wars and changes it to his version and puts it in the TV show, the main one is thrawn. What george lucas did with his prequels is he did bring stuff from the EU and he doesnt change it but what he does is he have some characters like his favorite one that he read from the comics called republic and has one character and puts him in the phantom menace, also when the writer of that comic series was going to kill him george lucas step in and changes his fate, also he puts events from the comics as mentiones in the films. So again im just saying dave filoni I dont respect because hes changing and altering a lot of stuff to make it his own. And supposedly his new thrawn trilogy if it is becoming real Thats how much you can tell that they or he is creatively bankrupt

The talent is out there but we dont live in a meritocracy. It's all about connections and that's a pretty corrupt system. I could probably write a better script than half the writers in Hollywood but, because I'm lazy and have no drive, we'll never know.

@ Kid, that's all last minute damage control. You need to learn how to be critical of massive plot holes. All of that was never apparent nor explained in the first two movies. It was a last minute addition to the trilogy, not something that was hinted at or foreshadowed. We never saw say "oh uh Anakin being born of the force was actually the result of Darth Sidious because he was just so mystical, and evil, and he knew witchery!" Imagine that being shoved in the episode 3, and we're all expected to just take it as is, no one would have accepted that drivel.

Not enough people here played this game AFTER reading the Thrawn trilogy. In Dark Force Rising you hear Han and Lando talk about "the Corellian Treaty" and who were involved in its creation. Then to go into this game for the first time with that knowledge, to see Garm Bel Iblis standing there and being acknowledged by Bail, it put a huge smile on my face. It's a great bit of continuity for those of us who were swimming in the Legends pool before the Force Unleashed came out.

I like to think that this event along with the the final duel of TFU take place just prior to the Ghost Crew’s arrival on Yavin IV in Rebes. The Alliance has unofficially existed since RotS with the deleted Rebellion scenes showing Bail mention briefly that he’s “putting together an organization” to oppose Palpatine. However, this scene exists as the establishment of the official Rebel Alliance. After this event we get the battle on Lothal followed by both Dark Forces and Rogue One (With the “Death Star plans” being split between the cast of Rogue One and Kyle Katarn with them both carrying a piece of the plans but not the full thing.) Thus, you get Dark Forces, Rebels, Rogue One, and Forces Unleashed each coexisting with one another. You could even place The Force Unleashed some point after A New Hope with Vader’s escape presumed (Probably with Fett’s help) and the whereabouts of Starkiller and Juno now unknown.

Star Wars at it's finest. The force always looks for balance. Vader takes a Child and corrupts him to the Dark Side and provides him with the person and the task which leads him to the light side. The actions of this Sith which turned to a Jedi ultimately start the beginning of the end of the Dark Side to balance the force.

Sheesh someone is a fresh blade of grass. Listen, this game came out not as canon, but something good enough to be on the level of canon from a story telling perspective, while not Lucas' exact words, it was close enough to how he described the game. The game was meant to be a star wars fan's dream game as well. The possibilities of what can be done with the force in this game was a dream come true, and the explanation we got in the game was that Vader trained Galen at a very young age in both lightsaber combat and force abilities, we may have never seen it, but it wasn't necessary, and it's a game which is self contained, it never was pushed as an official addition to the franchise canon. Second of all, goodness sake no, are you kidding me? The sequels were a directionless mess! Maybe the first director had a more stable plan, but even he messed up the moment he decided Ray could just use something like the force mind trick without literally ANY reason given at all. The novels don't count because not even the old novelization books for the first 6 films were used to such a ridiculous extent as to explain what should have been seen on screen. Not that the actions had to have been seen, but at the very least her being trained to some capacity by an experienced user in the force, Jedi or Sith, or even in robes of the respective factions to show she did go under some degree of training. Anakin was taken in at a early age, and when Episode 2 came out it was no surprise to anyonr that he was able to perform different skills and abilities, because we already were informed in episode 1 that he was being taken in by the order to be trained as a Jedi. With thede novels, it's a lazy and half a°°ed way of making up for what should have been considered for the screen. But even then the films made it clear to everyone, the sequel trilogy was some easy bake oven cash grab with references sprinkled here and there, with concepts and themes from the previous films, being heavily relied upon by the sequels. Sure something like a 5/10 year old Anakin is a bit similar to what rey did, but that was literally nothing as outrages as some tattooine clone desert dweller just knowing how to use a lightsaber, the forms needed to wield one properly in battle, and the abilities with the force that have been confirmed in previous 6 films that training is an absolute necessity to even be able to use these abilities (although a choke and push are simple actions that just require some concentration everyone has known this) that are just never explained besides lazily shoving in some book to do damage control for essentially wanting to be lazy with putting in "oh hey here's this thing from the other movies! You liked that right? Well here it is again! We're not gonna bother explaining why any of this is even possible with this character, but here it is anyways! Give us your money!"
