Omg I definitely remember sweet lolitas showing up with their iconic split wig + circle lenses + mismatched teaparties look, and taking pictures all together like a squad. You’re too sweet 🥺💗 and omg that sounds so iconic ! Haha I’d love to see those photos if you ever find them! I honestly kinda miss seeing OTT sweet look like that; it’s very nostalgic haha. I hope some trends come back into fashion sometime ;D

I’m glad I’m not alone when I cut my bangs 😂 I am always so tempted to do it again but I know I’ll be very particular on keeping them straight and that was always so annoying for me haha - and thank you! I’m not historian or nothing, but I like to talk about some great things I remember and learn about! I’m glad you like to hear ^^

I’m so glad all of those wig trends are coming back because it gives so many more options for coordination. I’ve yet to try to two different tea parties look (because all of my shoes are different styles and would look strange together), but I really want to!

I cut bangs become too many people saw be in a cosplay wig and told me bangs suited me better😅😅 but but I want to say why they are popular is because they are easier to achieve in wig form without looking too fake, because they can hide hair lines. Lace front wigs are usually considered more expensive. Circle lenses also is a thing from cosplay, since to be accurate to the character your cosplaying, you have to match their eye colours. I’d say I know many friends that are still wearing coloured contact lenses for daily wear now Haha I use to wear makeup only for cosplay, cosplay is all about events and photo shoots.. so the makeup and wig trends, I saw them around the same time in cosplay too haha. Now I also do shoots for wearing cute clothes, and when I do my process is basically the same as when I did cosplay. I really don’t blame people for saying that they are similar 😅

Yeah I totally agree that there were, at least in this time, tons of cosplay and lolita cross over (in terms of item trends). I totally agree with the bangs on the wigs because I love how I look in bangs with my wigs but irl I’m not too into them haha. I also used to wear circle lenses a lot for fashion but no longer - I haven’t seen them around anymore lately - but it’s cool to know some people still use them!
