The Biggest Test for our Improving Defense - Madden 24 Saints Franchise (Y4:G8) - Ep.67

Ойындар

It's Year 4 of the Madden 24 Saints Franchise. After two tough seasons forcing us into a rebuild, we're hoping to emerge as a playoff contender once again. With a new Quarterback and exciting offensive additions, could the pieces be in place for the Saints to compete for the division title?
My Franchise on Madden 24 begins with the New Orleans Saints. The Saints offer a unique challenge compared to any other team looking at their future cap space problems and aging roster. The Saints are not a bad team in 2023 at all. But their future could not be anymore problematic as cap restraints will cause them to move on from players, including some of their aging veterans they still rely on.
I aim for a more sim feel to my Franchises. I play on All Madden sliders that promote a more realistic play style. I have developed my own XP sliders to create a more authentic feel to Franchise in terms of developing young players and replacing regressing veterans.
This will be my biggest Madden 24 series, and I'm excited to get the rebuild underway.

I think the reason your run defense is so bad at times is that you almost always have a tackle box with 6 defenders. Not saying you need to run more 4-3, but try to keep a safety in the box.

@@VendevProd So you’re telling me leaving a Bengals team this stacked that the defense didn’t stop the entire second half, over 4 minutes to drive the field and run clock (with only 2 timeouts because of the failed challenge) would’ve been a better decision then going for it. The FG would’ve gave a 1 point lead, and in Madden almost every kicker can hit automatically from 50+. So with that knowledge the Bengals would’ve easily drove the field and most likely scored a TD while running the clock and even if they didn’t get the TD they would’ve easily gotten the FG to retake the lead with little to no time left. Just because it didn’t work out doesn’t make it a bad decision

@@damienwills3565 cpu time management is absolutely horrendous, and some of the throes burrow was making were really bad, and should’ve been picked off. @@VendevProd CPUs time management works against you in that situation. They know to run the ball in those situations, only time management issue is the misuse of timeouts 95% of the time. CPU just lets clocks run. Easily would’ve got it passed the 2min warning and would’ve definitely ran the clock until more then likely around 1min or less. With a rookie QB who’s been extremely inconsistent and the run game out of the picture and only 2 timeouts. Unlikely they make that happen. With a QB as inconsistent as Westbrook you gotta get points early and not try and have him in situations where the pressure is going to be sent at him more then the rest of the game. It was a good call, just didn’t convert. Doesn’t make it a bad decision

That's why you're the GOAT bro. My advice tho (you know your players ratings better than I do) would be if you feel the need to blitz in those situations, man blitz, but not with the corner. And also use inside shade with your outside corners to use the sidelines as extra defenders. Only tricky part is the slot and the tight end. Maybe move your nickel back, back a bit so he doesn't get burned off the snap. Always risky regardless with those WRs but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
