My biggest issue with Ben, Candace hating on her, is that if they have this platform and supposed insight and views into various issues, why spend all that toward a pop star, and pop culture in general. Their whole point is "none of this matters, bigger issues are out there", so why then, are they even doing this? If they do genuinely think these are topics to spend time on, then why not have a more mature and constructive take? What's with the straight up middle school type hate? And why for the sake of God, review movies and music???? are they experts? not at all. They are allowed to express opinions on all this stuff like any other person of course, but there is no constructive/knowledgeable take. Nor is there a simple opinion. It's dragged-out hate, stigma and makes them also seem like another attention-grabbing type. Which bums me out a bit, Coz at least with Ben Shapiro, i used to think he was sensible, now I don't want to know any of his thoughts etc. My primary problem is the totally nonconstructive hate they spew against taylor swift, the barbie movie too for example. I don't think TS, or the barbie movie are perfect,etc,but most people would either not say anything coz they couldn't care less, but since they choose to speak on it,they should learn to be more constructive and helpful to audiences in their criticism. The way they speak is what some of us used to sound like,gosipping about someone we hardly know in school, just because we just don't like them, so anything they do, anything at all, irks us the wrong way. These haters lack the ability to think past self-conceived logic and see things from another perspective. Makes them present themselves in a "may seem smart, they're the real fools" type. excuse the very long comment, I guess I wanted to share my take for a while now :)

I’m not a fan of Taylor simply because I’m not into music but the amount of videos that 40 year old married man with children has made about a woman that is 5 years younger than him doing nothing but insulting her the whole time is sick and disgusting

I think its so disgusting that he just threw out that people whose children have died from cancer have really suffered (which they have) completely ignorant of the fact that her mom has literally had cancer multiple times and she wrote ronan about a child who unfortunately passed away from cancer

Sam Smith also talks about emotions and relationships in his songs, but no one makes a video hating on him for that

not him saying she's not actually in pain comparing her suffering to children with cancer as if her mother did not suffer from cancer also- if i'm not mistaken Taylor donated money to help people who suffer from cancer more than once he's the one doing nothing but bitching and moaning all day💀

POV: You don’t understand what METAPHORS and HYPERBOLES are, your a hypocrite, you make money off of hard working people (mostly women), you don’t even correctly analyze a song, you pit women and men against each other, You don’t give Taylor credit for songs that aren’t about her exes (which almost every artist does), you ignore FOLKLORE and EVERMORE which are STORIES. Breakups happen every day you don’t have too lose it🤷‍♀️

The problem is that he didn’t even listen to it, he just saw the title, the track number, and Taylor’s Instagram post, and said: “Fine, I’m just gonna sit in front of a camera for I don’t know how many minutes slamming my feet on the ground because this incredibly successful, talented and beautiful woman who’s never gonna want to sleep with me has dropped a new album. Omar, your channel has helped me a lot to improve my english, I think most Taylor Swift's haters are jealous of her successful works especially the Kanye stans. The only reasons people hate on her is because of her success, and because she gathers people of all ages (not only seventeen girls as most people say). 6:34 Taylor never said she was having the worst experience ever in the world. Just that she felt really sad/mad/idk. She’s actually written multiple songs about death, and even about kids with cancer. This is just the worst thing that’s happening RIGHT NOW to HER.

The worst part about it for me was that he wasn’t even talking about any of the songs. He just complained about what he thought the album would be like and attacked taylor. He’s an actual child. edit: also, when will people realize that ttpd is a DOUBLE ALBUM. yes there are 31 songs but that’s across 2 albums! like shut up about it being too many songs. personally, I wish that she released the anthology a little bit after but still. like if you think it’s too many songs then don’t listen to them all.
