That's all fine, but if you want to move them to an alt that you mainly deal with pet collecting, it becomes an issue. We all like alts to deal with one certain thing, because... We're unique like that.

When i started in TBC as a nelf I remember how hard gold was getting. It took me pretty much getting to level 40 and selling a lot of stuff to get my basic mount and was broke after that purchase

I remember starting my first character in TBC and finding a gold bar in a treasure chest that vendored for 1 gold. I thought I was rich until days afterward I found out I could have AH'd it for about 15g at the time.

Many, many years ago I was standing around in Stormwind doing nothing and some random person opened trade with me and gave me 1500 gold to which I "?😲" He said he was quitting the game and giving all his gold to random low levels. I was rich!

Those tab prices... Thank goodness I still have my personal guild bank from back in the day (Vanilla and BC) when storage was hell. That'll still work for mats and stuff. Plus my bank alt can access the warband bank which just makes my personal guild bank better.

Yeah, same with my three personal guild banks. I'll be shuffling things in and out like mad, and then probably use the warbank purely for materials I plan to use currently.

I’m a little confused. The two of you (commenters on this thread so far) have enough alts to have guild banks and apparently enough stuff in those guild banks to need them. Have you considered selling some of that stuff to see if you can afford the Warband tabs? 😉 (Speaking of, I need to work on cleaning out my family’s guild bank…)

@@ButMadNNW626 I have a lot of stuff, but it wouldn't sell for 3 million gold. And as mentioned, I'm gradually using it. Sure, I could sell every single thing in my inventory that doesn't make me stronger for the current content, but that is not how I enjoy playing the game - if I'm gradually working on a goal I'm not going to throw that away because Blizzard is pointing me towards their latest event.

@@ButMadNNW626 I used to have a lot of stuff, that's why I have the personal guild bank. Like I said in my post, I made it back when storage was awful. It hasn't gotten a whole lot of use since, but I do store some mats and stuff in it. I'm just saying that since I have it I don't have a reason to spend millions on warbands bank tabs.

@ButMadNNW626 I have four personal guild banks plus belong to a community guld. Been playing since 2007. And yes I tend to have mats from every expand since vanilla. At my age I've maintained them if for no other reason than legacy planning on being able to pass my gold to friends when I leave. With this new account bank, and currently running nine toons weekly, I like the group access of mats, but it will never work for gold storage passthrough to someone not on my account.

Flightstones should be account wide - for those of us levelling alts that would prefer not to do the same bajillion dailies I already did on my 2 or 3 mains.

Honestly I agree with Max, flighstones could just be removed and nobody would go “:(“. They’re kind of an arbitrary hurdle it feels so dumb to have the crests you need but be out of flightstones.

I'd love to see a set of tailoring quests to enlarge the original starting backpack. There could be a set of quests for tailors to improve their own bag and another set so they could do that for other people.

I'd take issue with that half hour figure especially on slow respawns on daily quests like this week.

Regarding the warband bank and the feature to deposit gold for access by all characters on account. I wonder if they will implement a feature similar to guild banks that will allow for repairs to be made from the warband bank.

I hope they’ll have the dmf tickets transferable. It’d be nice to aggregate them on my shadow priest, whom has the most so I can knock out the expensive mount off my list faster.

i hope they look back at the certain reps being character locked. The one that stuck in my mind was when they mentioned aldor and scryer. Why can’t they be account wide and just still make your character make the choice? it just feels weird that some reps will be account wide and some won’t.

YAY for that we'll get a Warband bank! I'm not worried about the price, it's only the last one that's an eye dropper. I may be in a bit of the miniority, but I'm not super keep on the bonus XP thing unless you can turn it off, I play a lot more than some people I game with and this means I when we play together we won't level at the same rate. I wonder if there will be way to turn it off. Thank you so much for the updates, sounds like it was a very exciting week. Gratz on getting Taivan! Woohoo!

I understand the concern; the MoP rep bonus meant I leveled through the cloud serpent quest line much faster than my sister did when we were trying to do that together. However, I feel like XP is less of a concern for this. You won’t be locked out of doing quests if you’re level 80 and the person you’re playing with is still 78, plus Party Sync exists. 😊

get an alchymist to make a Crystalline Phial of Perception, get a Khaz'gorite Fisherfriend and enchant it with perception. And have the harpoon from Iskhaar fishing tools in your inventory. I went from getting almost 0 /1h without that to getting 40 cunches in 1 hour by fishing at a rich fishing area.

9:01 im glad for the warband bank for that because right now, if i want to send gold from a horde character on 1 realm to an alliance character on another i have to trade a friend, since you cant mail gold cross server.

5:29 Oooooohhh - I asked if the transmog would be limited to the 4 in the warband, and if i swapped a char out of the warband, of the transmog would be removed, thanks for clearing that up

Evoker being able to fly on their own reminds me of that one April fools post from years ago. Where player would have angel wings on their backs and be able to fly that way.

@mlwgurl I do not understand what you mean by gold cap. Is that a cap on an individual character? I have four personal banks and I think the gold cap on each of those is $10M each. Thinking the warbank should expand that yeah?

Question: do you think follower dungeons will be a thing in War Within as well, or maybe if they are planning to expand follower dungeons in older expansion too? Personally I love follower dungeons, since I am shy and want to learn every dungeon in my own pace before venturing there with unknown people. 🙈

QUESTION: Do we have any sense of an update or more information on when we will be able to more easily solo certain legacy raids? Uldir--for example--is still a headache with Mythrax and G'huun mechanics with the respective MC and orb running. Thanks!

I suspect you can turn on/off awakened, like they did for SL raids.

how did you get the dungeon part of the achievement done for the mount?

This expansion is bringing me back. Ever since they announced and confirmed "THe Last Titan". The last true big battle.

When they say all alts is in the warband... does that also take other server blades into account? I have characters on tarrenmill eu and anachronos eu...

You remind me of a Guild Leader from the early days of WoW that my wife and I enjoyed so much, calm, cool, and collected, he would gladly share all loot with pickups when going through dungeons and he just had one of the best attitudes. You have a glow when you speak, and it shows through. My favorite character is a Hunter, but Pallys are fun and tough too. Take care fellow explorer.

Wow, this makes my wow life easier! Thank you blizzard! I have gold on some characters I just can’t ever use, because I won’t level them or pay to transfer them to where I play today. But maybe this will help.

You don't have to transfer the characters now that gold is tradable across realms, all you need is one person you trust to hold your gold while you log from the stranded alt onto whatever character you want to actually keep the money.

@@redrenegade13 hehe, your a funny man 😂. Not only is that annoying for them but also would require both of us to write down amounts in order to keep track. I have wow gold stuck on multiple characters on different realms that I’ve stopped playing over the years. If we could just send our own gold to ourselves. Makes almost zero sense why we can’t. I lost out on an auction the other day being a little short. Would be nice to have a solution.

Tundra mammoth was actually 16k to buy since it required exalted rep which gave a 20% discount.

Absolutely 100% second the advice regarding ominous conches. I wasted so much time trying to fish and getting the best fish gear to up my chances & testing numerous locations. I then tried lunker farming and just doing the dailies and that was also slow. Initially when I was gathering the tackle boxes I also had very little luck, but the second I picked up the harpoon WHAM, I began getting them every other box! Even got doubles in some!

Back in wod I bought two guildies mammoths because I found out they didn't have any repair mounts at all, we were progressing Mannoroth and they were popping Jeeves on cooldown or asking for someone to get on a yak every few pulls and that was just sad.

thankyou for clarifying warband. Ive had to say all of that in my guild multiple times. Warband is just the name of the system they use to describe account wide progress. in other games its just called account progress. so, if this was another game, they would just say that lots of things would become account-wide.

Blizzard has finally loosened up and changed it's philosophy, also helps that Blizzard is no longer under Bobby or Activision's hooves.

Question: Currently we are only allowed to have one Dracthyr alt (per realm). Do you know if we will be able to have multiple Dracthyr in the War Within?

Correct me if i am wrong, but wasn't there a npc in shadowlands that let you turn off the awakened / empowered feature?

The tackle boxes are the best way to get the conches hands down.

I can't seem to find an answer on if leveling an allied race in MoP event will award the armor set. I would love to use that fun to get the last couple.

those two SL dungeon's were the best

I've been thinking about the awakened raids and the timeline for them. By my math (though it could be faulty) we'd finish the second cycle of them with the maintenance period on July 16th. I'm wondering if Blizzard is planning to have the pre-patch out before that.

Do I undestand well that we can have multi-realm characters in the warband and I can exchange items between realms? (i mean transmogs ofc)

would the hivemind mount doo skyriding? n if so do it still stack the speed buff when riding with the group you got the mount with??

Question - do you think with warbands coming out in prepatch, that the levelling achievements for the warband bank might be attainable then since it doesn't specify level 80?

If most mounts are able to skyride do you have to? or will the old way of flying still be available?

Does anyone know if the old reputations (SL/DF..) will count towards the reputation achievement? I'm ''stuck'' at 91 exalted reputations and I don't feel like grinding old old content :D

Are weapon transmogs going to be included into the ability for any class to unlock transmogs feature? I still have a really cool bow for my Hunter ive had in my Druid bank for ever just for this feature.

13:47 they have said with 10.2.7 that armor restrictions are going away for transmog, but not class restrictions, so like a wariror csnt learn priest appearances, but can learn cloth

@ButMadNNW626 mop remix will be on patch 10.2.7. Wouldn't make sense for them to be on the same patch and have different transmog rules

I wonder how making a new character will work now since you just have one login screen now. Do you pick the server while making the character?

Question: When War With In transmit happens. Will legendary items that I have collected but haven’t been able to equip transmit over? (Ie the Legendary Bow Thori’dal dropped for my warlock, can my hunter then use it?)

Question: do we know if they're doing something with the quest markers on the map for secondary quests and campaign quests as well? I like to level new alts but I'm not so keen on completing all of the quests with all of them. So when I log in with an alt and see a sea of quests on the map it's really off putting. I hope they do something about it.

For those old reps like SL Covenants or Aldor/Scryers, I’m hoping they change it from what they said make it so they’re still warband-wide, but just depend on the faction chosen by the character to leverage the rep. Otherwise those reps will just feel really bad compared to other normal expac reps once all others are converted.

I am not afraid of spiders in games but I am looking forward to finally exploring the world of the underground crab people!

Is warband bank for same realm toons or across your account?

The video itself answers your questions. It’s account wide, so clearly it’s cross-realm. Any of your characters can put almost anything that’s not soulbound in it. (At 1:21, you can see Hazel putting warbound gear and crafting materials in it.) And any character can withdraw from it. So yes, you can transfer items and gold between realms. That’s the whole point: you can do things like mine on a Horde character on Realm A, put that ore in the Warband bank, and take it out on an Alliance character on Realm B to craft it into something.

Oh Mists of Tirna Scithe... Can't wait to cry tears of frustration at people not understanding the puzzle maze. I wonder how they'll handle the covenant dungeon perks?

it would be nice if the dungeons would scale to the amount in yer group from solo to group 2 or more!

QUESTION: is there an add on that gives you a list of expac specific currencies (anima, crystals from wod etc) on all your characters? Trying to go through 20 years and nine expacs to find who’s got the most of it is frustrating.

Bagsync. It has a currency tab and breaks down each by expac. Just hover over the currency and it shows which character has them and how many.

Well the transmog mount at 120k gold is still a lot

the bit about shared gold account wide, that would upset the players who focus the markets and have gold cap on multple characters, but those people must only be a small % of players
