Samuel Little (born McDowell; June 7, 1940 - December 30, 2020) was an American serial killer who confessed to murdering 93 women between 1970 and 2005. In 2014 he was convicted of the murders of Carol Ilene Elford, Guadalupe Duarte Apodaca, and Audrey Nelson Everett, and in 2018 for the murder of Denise Christie Brothers. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)'s Violent Criminal Apprehension Program (ViCAP) has confirmed Little's involvement in at least 60 of the 93 confessed murders, the largest number of confirmed victims for any serial killer in United States history

In a case such as this, potentially so many victims, how is it decided the best interrogator/questioner? Not just interviews, but actual detective. Is it ever more easing for a man to be questioned by a woman? For example, would he potentially feel less inclined to embellish… maybe? BTW, by easing, I certainly don’t mean a murderer’s comfort. Just wondering in regards to the benefits of more information. I’m assuming when the numbers are this high, there are multiple agencies available.

Very re-watchble indeed.. Every time I recognize the body language signs better. I always look forward to new episodes and I even bought the ebook of Scott. It is very interesting.
If we ignore the affable delivery style, the main thing that comes across is, that he USED those cars he drove, as a way of luring people to their death. The car was a big part of each story, like it was his accomplice, they were in it together. These victims were vulnerable people, who fell for his easy charm, and got into his car, because they probably needed a ride somewhere. He was like a predatory Uber driver. And we can we just take a minute to think of how awful it was, for these victims to realise that that car was not going where they thought it was. It was going into the middle of nowhere, and they couldn't get away. They must have been terrified, and he's almost intimating that they were willing participants on this horrific final journey they were forced to make with him.
Who thought it was a good idea to put that music to the questioning of a serial killer? I found that the strangest thing of all! Great video guys

You guys are right; he is a good storyteller....it's the content that's jarring. These kind of people are why a person needs to have rules about how far to trust someone they just met. Forget using your intuition about a person, just don't get in a car etc. w/someone you don't know--ever!

You're absolutely right. Every victim family says, "it can't happen here" and there are thousands of stories about Jekyll and Hyde behaviour the second he gets you in the car. I forget which serial killer had removed the passenger-side door handle and Edmund Kemper also rigged handcuffs and a locking mechanism. Staying out of stranger's cars is just basic survival skills.
I am convinced my ex & I had a run in with this guy at a drive through liquor store off Bardstown in Louisville Kentucky in the early 2000s when my ex was going to Sullivan College there. He kept offering to drink with us and wanted me to go buy a mixer at a nearby McDonald’s which immediately raised my suspicions. He got more & more irritated when I wouldn’t leave him with my gf and ended up not drinking with us despite us already having our own alcohol & mixers.

Huh ? Say what!? I’m gonna kick your ass!
This one from the very beginning was so different then the prior evaluations from the panel. I actually felt nervous as I listened. He just seemed so delighted, casual, willing to share it all with animation. It made him happy. It was like someone telling about their recent vacation. Took me a while to realize that he simply scared me. He said he loved the one lady but then spoke how her dumped her body. His "love" is as short lived as his victims. I wonder how deep his hate runs?

@@NicolaMaxwell I know this, Nicola. Still the same problem and a reminder for future uploads. After doing interrogations for a living for 30 years, I dare say - it doesn't make much sense when you don't really hear what people say.
One of the reasons he may now seem to be embellishing a little bit as opposed to earlier interviews, would be that storytelling in prison is a form of entertainment and probably often there's one-upsmanship going on. His stories have changed over time not only because of the way people's memories work but, also because of the gaming of them while locked up. Really difficult to watch this man speak about his victims with a smile.
This man's descriptions of the roads, the vegetation, and the victims and the way he set and sprung the trap on these ladies reminds me of listening in on the hunting stories I've heard shared between friends and other avid hunters. They're trained to be attuned to the environment and the modes of the target's escape and these factors always play into the way the story is told. He even seems to share the joy of the hunter who bagged his game in difficult circumstances. To me, some of his smiling appears to be shared with the interviewer like he thinks the interview is totally getting the significance of his wild story.
This just honestly gives me chills, he's so calm, kinda showing off, it's horrifying. He makes me wonder how many times I've escaped death, been scoped out, stalked, just caught the wrong eye on a street... I've gotten out of a few.... very, very bad situations, and past experiences would be the ONLY reason I wouldn't trust him. God only knows how many people there are out there like this. If I ran into this man just talking like he's a good ole boy, being southern polite, I mean.. I would not have been suspicious. He prob sends off signals when he's "hunting" that you'll get a gut feeling about but I mean... I wouldn't have looked twice at this man on the street. Horrific. The laughing. Revolting.
First time you’ve added music, yes? A bit distracting, harder to concentrate on your great analysis.

NO MUSIC PLEASE!!! I watch because I appreciate the camaraderie you all have and the educational value of your analysis. One thing that I find maddening and despicable is glorification of psychopaths. When music is introduced here, like the building drumming overlaid on the interview sections and then your wrap-up, you’re moving away from education and analysis to entertainment. Using the activities of a serial murderer as a basis for entertainment or converting it to such, with music, it’s just morally wrong. I’ve seen other KZreadrs get increasingly successful and start introducing music and in every case it takes away from what makes KZread channels feel independent and lucid. @@NicolaMaxwell apparently that’s the case, but there was a choice to use that video and then the Wrap-up segment music did not; that was another creative choice within TBP. The point is that the introduction of music could be a slippery slope for what has so far been solid educational content, the entertainment value has been secondary in the way the panel member’s personalities interact. I think a large part of their success and appeal has been their modeling constructive working relationships as a team of independent minded specialists. To veer into entertainment shifts the tone away from what has worked and set them apart and threatens to make the content run-of-the-mill. That’s all my opinion and shared only as one viewer to TBP if they read any of this, because I have benefited from their different content and would like to continue. If they go more mainstream I know I will stop watching but with regrets. I’ll just automatically start looking again for something with genuine content and expertise without the dumbing-down. There’s been a shock value to the intelligence they’ve portrayed thus far that’s been a respite from most other program messaging, particularly in the political realm.

Him smiling is not a complicated issue. This man is smiling as he describes the murder events in great detail because I believe he relives each murder over and over with pleasure in his thoughts and is enjoying and appreciating the opportunity to tell others of his many conquests and how clever he thinks he was. I'm not so sure he was exaggerating on descriptions. I think he does have an exceptional memory for detail as one can see via his incredibly detailed drawings of all of the women he had murdered over the years. He remembered primarily their necks. He is a very frightening psychopath. He has no difficulty openly admitting the objectification of women with little if any change to facial affect

@@amandapoyner8141 ahh I didn't hear it when they were talking originally, guess I wasn't listening to it loud enough
Darrel Brooks. What's your take on him? The state of WISCONSIN has 70+ charges against him and he is representing himself in court.
I have ask before. Please do a video on Australian criminal (MARK CHOPPER REED). He was a larger than life killer. It would be very entertaining to see what the quys think of him.

Hell yeah!!!!! Uncle chop chop! I've been asking for him for weeks!🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Cross off another career path that would not work for me: interviewing serial killers. The darkness and his love for his darkness is something that was never intended for human beings to immerse themselves in. I'm 15 minutes in and must sign off. Cannot live in the presence of such darkness.

@@NicolaMaxwell well aren't you charming. Some opinions are not worth the ink used to express them - yours falls in that category.
"he's a people person...he just happens to kill some of them." Love that, Greg Hartley!!!
The details on THINGS is a BARGAINING CHIP. It has emotional payback for him immediately. Smart interviewer utilizing this! It's a little treasure which costs killer nothing yet rewards him with immediate audience involvement pay-off (control w/ASMR), and keeps control of interviewers time & attention.
This is the best format !! See images while you talk!! Amazing work guys
This channel has really taken off. Proud to have been a part of this, right from the beginning. It’s been a fun ride.
What I find puzzling is why the interviewer was asking about physical characteristics of each victim as opposed to questions like "What motivated you to do it?" or "do you have any regrets?" Instead it was "How heavy was she? How tall?" I found that a bit bizarre unless I am missing something.

I think the interviewer was looking for details that could be confirmed based on missing people. If they can confirm who his victims were they can also give closure to the family.

@@ellenfielding7917 Ah. I see. Thankyou for that.
I agree with Mark that he is very likely searching his mind for ANY detail whether it belongs with THIS PARTICULAR murder or not. Looks like he's pulling memories from a LIST rather than an ability to nail each of 60 murders details; especially as the interviewer is so clearly FEEDING him LOTS of details. At the age of 70, would be easy to have a melange if details.
I love you four and have learned a lot ..... but the music and the swooshing is distracting and annoying. Please consider stopping that.

The music in the clips wasn't added by them and the "swooshing" has always been there
What’s with the music in the background of video play? 😫 very irritating
I've never heard of this guy before. Very interesting
This personality gives ZERO "red flags," for me AT FIRST. I realize he's older here & been in prison a while. But if this was his overall personality & way of engaging throughout life... he's charming. That would really play disarming & getting people to trust him. "The organism does..." A creepy reminder that it's important to go beyond "trusting my instincts," & know some dangerous people may not set off alarm bells.
your hippie comment made me laugh. i have long hair and my laundry detergent is patchouli based. you guys are great.

This is so cool you can put up a little trailer preview before the stream starts. SO cool!
Not sure what you’d call this guy in terms of whether he’s a psychopath or whatever, but of all of the many serial killer interviews I have watched, this guy is the most terrifying I have ever seen - mainly because of how personable he is. Scares the sh*t out of me cuz we all know lots of people who, on the surface, seem to be just like him! 😳
Y’all gotta review Darrell Brooks’ bevaior during his opening statement today
I have been watching you guys for many months and want to thank you a lot for the knowledge that you are sharing with us! Love from Vienna, Austria 🇦🇹 ❤
I just saw a parole hearing on KZread regarding Patricia Kremwinkle, one of Manson's followers who took part in the Tate, LeBlances murders in 1969. So much body language to identify. Would love to see you guys analyze it.

Love, love your show! I downloaded Chase's app. I, too, found the music too loud and distracting
That music accompanying the murderer is annoying. I can’t even hear what he’s saying it’s so loud.
Im just catching up now! I now have a meeting at 6 on Thursdays so I cant catch the lives for.a little while. As always thank you, I come here to learn and Im never let down.
I wasn't expecting the music at the end. I even paused it to ensure it was coming from this video, lol. It does pull you away a bit from what you're saying.

Background music during interview is distracting and unnecessary. Hope it's not a permanent feature. Your analyses is my focus. Thank you

I’m only 2 mins in. The absolute glee and glory he has in telling the horror of murdering not women, but to him objects….I’m repulsed. This is gonna be a tough watch.
I think he smiled so much because he enjoyed remembering what he did, reliving the moment.
