I am actually disappointed with the use of Gary Ablett Snr as Geelong’s controversy. Two major things here… 1. Gary Ablett retired 1996. The incidents were in 2000. This is four years after he worked for Geelong. It is nothing to do with Geelong. It is to do with an individual who happened to be a former player. I think this is a very sad story and I hate that it happened… but he was nothing to do with Geelong at the time. 2. Gary Ablett Jnr was shown immediately after, also associating him with the issue of his dad by juxtaposing him with that previous issue. Also… he had nothing to do with the drug ring apart from being Captain. Nobody ever associates Gary Jr with anything bad. It actually dirties his name. Keeping this content up continues to dirty Gary Jnr and it is very unfortunate that you chose to put Gary sr and Gary Jr up.

​@@doylersafl8728the crows joined instead and port didn't have their official licence until 1995 and joined in 1997 but only able to join as the power not the magpies. They were a new team. So it kinda doesn't count as port adelaide "Power" related as it was the port adelaide "magpies" in 1990.

@zayburnell they consider themselves to be one club, even if the identity is different. Therefore I'd say that it is a port power issue even if it happened to their sanfl counterpart

the kurt tippett saga would be another for the crows, wasn't as damaging tho

consultancy group was in charge of the sessions but the crows organisation agreed to it and allowed it to happen
