The Biggest Missing Piece

An embittered and disillusioned anonymous man confronts Abraham on the simplicity and naïveté of their teachings.
"You represent in your discourse here, the perspective of humans who believe they are not the creators of their own reality."
"You have taken upon yourself the discomfort and discord of millions of people."
"In the early days it would not have been unlike Jerry to have presented a question much like the one you have presented, because he was always riding in on his white horse with his white hat, trying to right the wrongs of the world, and he felt great frustration that there were those who were not cooperating with that intent."
BEST OF TIMES / WORST OF TIMES
"When we say that it's the best of times and the worst of times, we're not kidding, because the contrast does get greater and greater. Man's ability to inflict pain and harm upon one another is also increasing, as is man's ability to find love and harmony."
SOMETIMES IGNORANCE IS BLISS
"Someone who feels as strongly as you do, would say, 'Well you're just teaching people to put their head in the sand -- that ignorance is bliss.' And we would say, head in the sand is good if the alternative is being focused upon something that will cause an attraction of unwanted -- and ignorance IS bliss if attention to the unwanted causes you to practice a vibration that causes a point of attraction that brings you more of what you don't want."
THE MOST SIGNIFICANT THING
"Here is the most significant thing that we want to say to you. It is not important to us what you believe because what you believe is yours to believe. It IS important to us, what we know to be. We have discovered that by knowing what we know, our life is one of joy, and you've discovered that by knowing what you know, your life is one of misery. We just want to explain to you that there are choices."

This is so true. I am learning to view life differently. My 22 year old son was born with Law of Attraction, it seems. When we'd be out and about and I'd see a person in a wheel chair going down the sidewalk, I would get incredibly sad and cry sometimes. My son would then say, "how lucky is he that he has a wheel chair and the courage to get out into the world instead of staying locked up inside." And, things ALWAYS seem to fall in place for my son, ALWAYS! He sees the positive 90% of the time.

Let me comment. This man like myself and many others is like a man who watches a million hours of gentle g rated movies and g rated videos and a 100 hours of r rated and x rated videos. The 100 hours of horrors have made such a frightening impression on his mind that he can't remember the million hours of love he watched. It's the same with watching the news. The news is filled with negativity yet looking out my window everyday i see only trees, friends, birds and life.

Man in the Red Hat... This is for you. I, too struggle because of our gift of medium. It took many years for me to "turn it off" because I felt that it was my duty to feel the injustice as to not forget the hurting and humiliated. I gave myself permission as you must do. Our greatest gift will be to have joy ourselves because we can SPREAD that joy; without it, we cannot. Our vibrations effect people far far away. LET US VIBRATE JOY AND PEACE AND PROSPERITY : ) It's okay, Brother.

My son also views terrible things differently than I have. When we would talk about the horrible things that happen in the world, he'd say, "Mom, you can't control what other's lives are, so just focus on your own life." Amazingly, this son has been the kindest, most loving and gentle human being I and others who meet him, have known, not unkind and mean. No matter what happened in our life after my divorce, he'd say, "everything will work out" and it has!

Having sat in this man's seat of dispar, and then flipping it completely around to bliss and joy, Abraham is spot on! I also see all the suffering but my focus is on helping others realize their true power and choose bliss. With that as my focus, law of attraction continues to bring me more bliss in every possible way! My advise to those who are suffering is to stop, put a new label on it and say you are learning what you don't want. Then think of something you love for a few seconds. Then think of someone you love for a few seconds. Keep doing that and you are choosing joy over suffering.

I remembered a story I heard told by Adyashanti. It was a about a man he had visited in prison with a life sentence. The prisoner had had a profound awakening during solitary confinement, found this light within himself. His perspective radically shifted. He saw the prison as his monastery as he fell in love with all the inmates...people don't get put in solitary confinement for being nice. There is power in perspective. The story kept coming to my mind during this, thought I'd share.

You can actually see her reaching to translate the vibration into words at times in a way you may not see with what she typically gives us. This was an excellent conversation between source and the person in the chair. Very insightful.

Perfect. He's miserable because he's focused on misery. I used to be there, too. I have a tendency, still, to drift in that direction. But living Abe's teachings for the past several years has given me another way. I acknowledge that there's misery and horror in the world. I just know that dwelling on it only adds to it. Shifting my focus to "positive aspects" has yielded positive circumstances. I'm doing the world a lot more good now by living positively than I could have before.

Finally someone asks the question we all silently pondered. Always loved Abraham, but always had an issue with the selfish like attitude they promote. Too hard to ignore the rest of the world, but asking this question bluntly has given Abe the opportunity to finally answer it in a way I can accept. I usto believe that Aber's didn't care about others, but reading all the comments under this video has proven me wrong. What a great following of people they have! I actually read all 200 comments!

Secondhand pains are sometimes greater than firsthand experiences... Was bit by a dog, mother (and the nurse) were much more shocked/devastated than I. I was smiling and joking, mom was heavily bringing me down & not recognizing MY resilience. I asked the nurse to please not allow her around me. The pain was gone, it was time to get stitched up & think about school & how to use the brace. It's like an impossible puzzle of how to help the earth/world. Starting with yourself is a great clue.

My goodness. I wonder what this guy is doing today? Hope he got himself together...I love how Abraham tries best to help him...he's obviously deep in depression. Very sad. Philosophy can be a dangerous thing in that we can overthink things. We DO create our own reality...I know from my own experiences. When I feel good,it's because I'm taking care of myself...meditating, etc. but when I feel badly, it's cause I lose sight of myself. We can't be engulfed in all that's bad that goes on in the world. It's not healthy. I don't watch the news because of this...bless him

Since I found Esther, I am off my medications, my business is booming, I am happy now, so is my wife. Again, the evil ones want 85% of the worlds population to be sad and afraid. Esther is teaching what the ancient ones knew. Constantine, 300 AD forbid these teachings and created the model we have now we have organized religion instead of this. This gentleman is in a rut. This is the secret of the universe.

This is very powerful to me, and I see very much of my self in how this guy thinks, feels and see the world. What I felt too was that he (to me) seems secretly to be blaming himself for creating such a world, and cannot accept the parts of himself that are capable of committing those same atrocities that he talk about: Genocide, hurting others and "inserting himself into other peoples realities". I am dealing with a lot of the same issues myself; as well as trying to create what I prefer, and I found that my secret self-blame screwed my allowing of what I prefer - So I attracted tons of negative synchronicity and pain when I tried creating what I prefer, even though my conscious vibration was positive and in tune with what I want. It was only when I started forgiving myself that I started allowing more of what I prefer. So what I want to share here is that forgiving myself instead of blaming myself has been the biggest missing piece in my attraction. It is allowing me to see pain and suffering as valid in itself (as contrast brings depth and flavor) and most importantly: optional:) It enables me to more freely choose what I prefer. So my deepest respect and unconditional love to you, Anonymous Guy, and I hope this helps whoever reads it:)

There is so much on this plane that is excrutiatingly painful to even know about, never mind have to live through and it is the result of a clash of 'beliefs' or 'ideas'. I think the simplicity of Abraham's words r just to complex for the human ego to handle, it is precisely this which is so difficult to bare. She explains beautifully & so simply that humans love to hold on to the details to argue their limitations. The ego will do whatever it takes to enforce the reality of the illusion, I feel thats the point of the ego, u either sink, swim or go with the flow, appreciate the ego for its purpose, but don't let it consume the truth that this life is just a moment.

Excellent teachings!! Thank you so much!! From this conversation I could see that the man was holding on to his point so firmly, that it wasn’t letting him see any other way nor choice at all.. Thank you again Abraham!! 🥰❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍

Finally! a comment from a person who was really listening. This wasn't an attack( on Abraham) this was pain being expressed with the hope of an answer and relief. Thank you.
