My father once told me that many students from America, Canada, Europe, and Australia used to study at the Kabul University of Medicine and Engineering. When I was studying at Amani High School, there were also several students from various countries. Unfortunately, our country has been destroyed by our bad neighbors, particularly Pakistan. However, I believe that one day Afghanistan will rise again. After all, we were the first country in the region, and our astronaut even went to the moon. Afghans are good-natured and lovely people. I am an Afghan Canadian, and whenever Canadians find out that I am natively from Afghanistan, they are interested in knowing more about my Afghanistan. They even dream of visiting this beautiful land one day.

People who dislike Afghanistan are brainwashed by propaganda. They don’t know that the Taliban was more than willing to negotiate with the US to avoid war. The entire anti-Afghan narrative was just a means to paper over US atrocities and pretend to care about Afghan women giving cover for the real reasons it was there: to cause chaos in the region, to enrich the US military industrial complex and to deny Afghanistan normal relations with its neighbors and potential investors.

over 50 years ago Dubai was just a desert and the rulers lived as bedouins but after they found oil they transferred that place into what it is today in such a short period of time...Afghanistan can transform into one of the most beautiful and amazing countries in the world as it is naturally beautiful

Trying to recall history. Afghanistan was part of the Greek empire. Later Persian and had strong ties to India and Buddhism. A transit hub of the continent. Basically served as the Costco of luxury goods for 2k years and until the 13th century was majority Bhuddist. Was open to ideas and had freedom of religion. More aligned with Xingang than Pakistan and hated Persian reproachment. I believe someday, maybe 20 years from now it will, with mineral wealth and education, evolve into a free and fair democracy. The pre-2001 Taliban leadership won't last long and I think the younger generation is not so radical.

With the Taliban regaining control of Afghanistan 2 years ago, they have been giving people more freedom compared to their last time running the country. It's good seeing an unbiased video showing what peacetime in Afghanistan looks like. It's great that people are still helping the nation, as people don't like the Taliban and I want to see Afghanistan improve.

people don't like taliban, and how did you know? By watching bbc video of a certain feminist crying. Bro, most of western propaganda are lies. Actually many like them either women or men. I saw Afghani guy interview women in a market for women they were criticizing women who oppose taliban because they like western culture. Even a woman was talking with the spokesperson of taliban (on al jazeera) and wasn't too aggressive against them. She didn't hate them. She said they at least listen to us. She was talking with him about women education and they said they would bring it back after building enough infrastructure. She had its points that she hated about them but not to that degree. Even the people who hated them at first is now starting to stand with them because they started developing the country better than anyone before them. Those projects never started before due to corruption mainly (the western media said that btw).

i truly hope these projects pan out and are completed thoroughly and safely. please make sure everything is up to code and that we build a foundation for generations to come. i continue to send money to my relatives in afghansitan but i pray that the country's infrastructure can reach a point where the world can see the beauty and strength of afghanistan, and see what afghans can accomplish if we work together.

I am MD graduated Afghan. So We Afghans fully support current government of Afghanistan . Because now Afghanistan is independent and peaceful country. No corruption and no norcotics and hashish marketing. Talibans is a nation that is why they defeated USA and also Taliban's collapse the puppet Afghan government. We respect a single single drops of that blood which Taliban's sacrificed for independence and for Islamic government. When USA occupied Afghanistan so in that condition fighting against USA and NATO occupiers and fighting against Afghan puppet soldiers was legal rights of Afghans to defend the country . The people of every has responsibility to protect and defend their own country . # Afghanistan government want a good econamical and political relationship with every country in the world but Afghan nation will never accept any foreign soldier in Afghanistan.

It has been just 2 years, development activities are starting in Afghanistan. When the right environment is created for women, they will be allowed to move again through education

Having Afghan parents I always saw afghanistan as a deserted place with war and terrorists and no future hope, but now that im older Ive seen pictures of Afghanistan pre-war and it was a fairly developed and mature/advanced nation. Afghanistan never got to be apart of the economic/technological boom of the modern age as the war started right before it so I'm hoping they can create their own and finally acheieve what they were destined for. From my experience suffering creates determination and determination creates strength.

Wow nice that's good news for afghan people

I am Pakistani-American, and I am happy that Afghanistan has found peace and is now developing. The only two things I ask are that the Taliban government allow girls to get their education. And, secondly, Afghanistan should try to have good relations with Pakistan by not supporting and harboring TTP. This would allow more trade between Afghanistan and Pakistan and help both countries.

Don't believe everything the media says, they are in reality facilitating education for girls, if not in some areas the processes are being made. In regards to relations with Pakistan, there are enemies of Pakistan within Pakistan causing a lot of chaos in the love of money/power/land, their time will be coming to an end soon insha Allah and relations will improve drastically. Afghanistan is very much in the process of dealing with corruption alhamdulillah. By the way I am Pakistani myself based in the UK.

@@oracle201212 I cannot tell you how deeply Pakistanis regret in taking part in the "Afghan Jihad," at the behest of Western Powers and their Arab allies. It was a terrible, terrible mistake. It not only destroyed Afghanistan, it destroyed Pakistan as well. Pakistan too was a liberal country in those days. But Pakistan's intentions were good. Pakistan wanted to liberate their Afghani brothers from Soviet communist rule. And Pakistan made enormous sacrifices for that. Nearly 80,000 Pakistanis died, and Pakistan's economy was ruined. It still has not recovered. What Pakistan SHOULD have done was to let Soviets transform Afghanistan into something similar to one of their Central Asian republics. That would have modernized Afghanistan, and eventually, it would have been better for all. We had a stupid President, Zia-ul-Haq who had no foresight whatsoever. He sold Pakistan for paltry military aid from the US. We regret. We are truly sorry.

The Pashtun areas of Pakistan were never supposed to be part of Pakistan, but Afghanistan. TTP is fighting to return those lands to Afghanistan because they don't recognize the Durand Line as a border.

No, I am simply looking at the situation as it is, without being for or against a side. Even when the modern countries came to be after independence, it doesn't change the facts. Pashtuns have always been of Afghanistan. I am not advocating "breaking up" Pakistan but rather assigning nations to their correct states. I can already see this is going to be a fruitless conversation, but people should be in their respective countries. We saw Pakistan throw Pashtuns under the bus during the war. We see how Pashtuns in Pakistan fall prey to the colorism that afflicts others as hangover from the colonial era while Afghan Pashtuns for most part don't; this is because Afghanistan defeated the British and they have a strong identity. That's why you don't understand why separatist movements occur. I am not advocating splitting up Pakistan but rather, reducing Pakistan while enlargement of other surrounding countries; no new countries. However, I advocate splitting up India, because there is no such thing as an Indian nation. There are Hindis, Tamils, East Asians, Panjabi, and Kashmiri in India who each should get their own state. None will assimilate with the other, and that's why there is infighting among them. Muslim countries should be according to their nations and then that is how real unity can come about. This is also why Kurds are fighting for their own nation and why they fight for the USA against their own Muslim brothers; because they are oppressed by their own people. Same reason why Arabs betrayed Ottoman Turks; Turks were oppressing them.

In Sha Allah, I pray for Afghanistan and people there to be able to live new, better life with 0% poverty. I hope Afghanistan will look like UAE in future. May Allah grant you peace and comfort within your new government. Sellam
