Another myth about Las Vegas: Casinos elsewhere around the USA don’t not do things in like in Las Vegas.

You missed a big one. The fact that the Vegas sign, Vegas Strip, and all of those attractions are not in Las Vegas. They are in Paradise, NV. Even the Las Vegas Airport isn't in Las Vegas.

I moved a business there & basically gave it away in order to leave. The place makes me vomit

Vegas is still too expensive now. Even with whatever cheaper places there. The prices for things is ridiculous. Absurd. Too much greed from the casinos. Hotels. Etc.

Las Vegas is definitely more affordable than nearly all of the "northeastern" cities like NY, Boston, Philly, DC etc. Hotel room regularly sell for as much or more than nice strip properties with far more amenities.

Vegas Tip: if you plan on partying all night & sleeping during the day, DO NOT get a room facing the pool (at any hotel) . Most of the hotel pools have a loud DJ going all day, You're welcome

Another local here. You have the best and most informative content on visiting our fair city (county). I used to subscribe to many of the Vegas channels; now you are the last vlogger standing.

Love this video! I visited Las Vegas for the first time on a business trip back in January 2020. I didn’t know smoking cannabis in public was illegal. I literally walked out of the Flamingo one night and was standing on the sidewalk and there was a guy smoking a joint and talking to two police officers. They were just chatting it up and the dude offered the cop a puff. The two officers laughed and declined and told him be safe and have a good night and went on their way. Thus the confusion on my part with this law .

The only requirement that something is on the strip is that it is on Las Vegas Blvd. The rest is subjective. Westgate, Ellis Island, Palms, Rio, Orleans, Palace Station, all off-strip properties. I would consider the strip to go from the Strat on the north end to the Mandalay Bay complex on the south end.

As a twenty-five-year veteran dealer in Nevada, I always told players that the only thing that is "bad luck" was being superstitious.
