Outlets don't have discontinued items, warehouse make items specifically for outlets making it look like you are getting a bargain .

These outlets are not the same quality as the retail stores in Firenze believe me! Go the latest collection and better selections in the main stores in florence, milan, rome

@@tequilabumbum4373 I never go to outlet stores when in Italy. Why? Wasting your time and money. You are in Europe to buy the real deal. I go to Italy every year, my fave place and at times shopping exploration. I am going next week. I will check them out. Dollar is strong hopefully prices are not. We shall see.

With a strong US dollar it's time for a shopping trip.

I live near the outlet, we’ re not in florence city but about 25km after. There’s the bus line dedicated that will bring you from the florence central station to the outlet and back… Good shopping!!!!❤

As someone who lived there and frequently visited this outlet - this is a lie. Some of the things are 50% OFF, many are outlet only, and I‘d say 25-30% was not on discount at all. Look at big retailers that carry gucci for sales, not the outlet.And true, there are „special price“ pieces, but they usually suck

Brands like Tommy Hilfiger & polo have separate production for their outlets but many stores like Gucci,Prada & saks are mainly returns and product that didn’t sell, you can tell when everything In store is 1-2 seasons old. All the luxury pieces I have that I got at the outlets feel identical to the full price store, are made of the same materials and were produced in the same country

The Gucci headquarters or manufacturing site is outside of Florence too on the way to Pisa

The mall is a popular tourist attraction. Italians don t really shop there as its renowned that this is just old stuff and some goog things but that better deals can be find even in the og stores, or luisa via roma or other places

"Old stuff"? That's what outlet means. Also, old high fashion items are not old, they're vintage. Anyways, rich Italians don't go there because they go at the actual shop, and the rest of the Italians can't afford to buy at "The Mall". And that is why only tourists buy there since the prices are very convenient compared to the prices in their own country. On the other hand, there are the outlets in Barberino or the Valdichiana one where Italians go because they're way more affordable and of course there's no Gucci or Prada there 😉

Luckily I have a Gucci Prada jimmy jacobs burb etc outlet within 20 min of me. 😅 Don’t plan on buying any of that stuff though. Might stroll in to take a look someday. See what all the fuss is about…

Yes, but they're designer outlets....that means you're getting outlet quality. So buyer beware. Don't be fooled. I always feel cheated by the quality from the designer outlet. Buy from the original Prada, Gucci flagship store. Outlet quality is a scam, designed to fool people into thinking they're getting a bargain on quality. Yes, you're getting something that looks like the real thing, but made with far cheaper materials. Sorry. With clothing DESIGNED for designer outlets you'll see the deterioration of your item appear overtime and it soon unwearable. I'd rather buy a fake. Nothing compared to the real flagship store quality.

All outlet stores are the same. Made for the stores, and not quality. Avoid Outlet Malls.
