Well who is "old age" tho? 70+ 80+ ? Most people in that range die from something they probably would have survived 20 years younger. So yes, the old age itself is a cause, but so is the thing they died from.

I didn’t know so many people died of Parkinson’s Disease. My grandma had it and she passed away 2 yrs ago. To watch her in her old age was the hardest thing ever. I wish there was a cure for something so awful.

HINT: many many cases were blamed on cvd when actually they were NOT caused by cvd! plenty of folks reported their spouse or friend dyed from a car accident or social drug overdose or had a heart attack right in front of them, yet their deth cert stated cvd as the cause when they didnt HAVE cvd at all!! total fearmungering by the geemt! and wheres the category for deth caused by the polkup itself? both my neighbor and my bil are now fataaly ill with ccr a year after they chose to get their polkups. smoke, mirrors and blatant lies; cant trust any hlth officials or geemt any more, ever.

Obesity and it’s problems like cardiovascular disease that come rushing with it, is by far the biggest killer in the US, probably even most of the world. And yet, instead of fighting it, we tell people that all sizes are healthy, and clearly that is not the case. Being over weight is fine, but once your over 100lb, you are in no other way than obese, and your life is slowly taken away faster and faster till you join this statistic in the video, at 30. Edit: as clearification, when i say 100lb, i mean over 100lb of what your weight is supposed to be at. like, if your supposed to be 180 for your height and sex, and your 291, I would count that as being heavily over weight to obese. Also, I’m not saying force overweight people to eat healthier: I’m saying more promotion for healthier eating habits; support groups to loose weight; and not saying healthy at every size is the right way to go about the pandemic of obesity. In not only America, but the world.

What exactly does “Fighting it” mean to you? Do you imply we should shame people into submission? Perhaps what you mean is that we should all eat healthier, and give more attention to our metabolic processes. To address that requires an understanding of how we got to this place, and the answer is by no means a simple one. Throwing up your hands in protest and screaming an ultimatum at the undifferentiated masses does nothing to help anyone except make you feel like you’re helping by cohering to the “in-group” and denouncing the “out-group”, being affirmed and emboldened by the chorus of acceptance from those who recognize you as a compatriot. We should endeavor not to start or stop anything beyond being of service to those directly in our lives and communities. Start learning how to cook and make delicious meals for people, inspiring them to learn as well. Be the light that shines in other’s lives, it is far more rewarding and has much more impact.

the covid numbers are grossly inflated with other comorbidities. if a person died of a heart attach and also tested positive for covid they would rule the death as covid. the government would give the hospital more money for covid deaths.

You are right, in Romania they reported tens of thousands of covid deaths in 2020, but when they published the real data showing people who died OF covid, under 300 people died of it, so the real number is more than 100 times lower. All the rest died of other causes and also had covid.

Old age doesn't actually kill you. It just makes you more suseptible to illnesses or injuries which are the actual killers. The idea of dying from old age comes from a time when we didn't really know what old people were dying from.

@@captainalieth Well, you can say that about anything. Car crash doesn't kill but causes injuries which kill. Suicide or murder are the same. Almost nothing kills and therefore is not that bad with careful wording.
