It's the 4th installment and my 3rd Big Showdown Event at Texas Motorplex. An annual KZreadr Callout event put on by Demonology and Donkmaster. This year I was lucky enough to be selected as a member of Team BOOSTane racing.
I was only able to get 3 runs in and although they didn't turn out as expected, they were at the very least good clean runs.

Yup, I’ve always heard about them. I’m definitely going to need to do a lot more if I ever want to line up against one again

This was more of a grudge type event so most people were running No Time. That’s the "NT” by their number. Even the main boards won’t display their time, you know, just like the Demon 170 in Vegas! 😂
So, I can safely bring my Scat to 100 octane without O2 sensors blowing out?
It looks and sounds like your car is running good keep it up

I felt the same, sounded really good and looked like it was running really good plus no shifting issues, just wasn’t hitting the numbers I thought it would for the conditions

@@joshreynolds729 nope, just going to deal with it for now until there's word on what's going on with Direct Connection kits for 392s.
About 3-5 oz of Boostane with 3/8-1/2 tank of gas has given me good results according to my data. Half a can or more, not so much according to my data. The point is that I am conservative the stuff.
You don't sound like you're from Texas(I don't either or from AZ :) ) Does higher octane help a stock engine make more power?

Ha, that’s cause I’m not, I’ve just lived here the past 19 years. I’m actually from Detroit originally. The stock tune will make some adjustments for higher octane like it does for lower octane too so it does make some difference. I saw it first hand when a guy I was racing with dumped 5 gallons of ms109 in his almost empty tank and ended up picking up almost 2 tenths as the day went on.

@@Scavenger1320 nope I was out of the car full tank of gas . Exactly how I raced it last trip 😂 12.58 best pass that day . 12.37 is best pass on 1/2 tank of gas .

Talked to him for a bit in the staging lanes and saw him compete in the loudest pipes too. Cool guy
