This sounds like a potential important detail. Can you expand any further on it? more specifically are you saying while he was fixing time he messed up his relationship with Vanessa in his new future? an adjacent timeline that was "fixed" by deadpool. is now beginning to connect to the 616? Let me tell you why I think this is important. I believe Loki did the exact same kind of thing. I think the infinity Saga is merely a reflection of the sacred timeline and that it is post Loki series. giving Loki all the tools he needed to fake his death. Our Infinity War Loki was variant Loki. And I believe there is proof on the timeline that he sacrificed enchanted victims. I believe I know who he is now. If deadpool is saving the 616 is it the sacred timeline? or the 616 adjacent timeline. I'm beginning to side with Iman Vellani. She said the timeline is technically earth 1999999. Which may have been referenced by Sony on Into the Spiderverse. Our timeline continues and will weave in and out of genres and mediums even time periods. Whichbis why I think Disney made a ride where even animated characters battle king Thanos. But back to the main point here. I wonder if Vanessa will also be the face of mistress death and be our Deadpools love interest who is also being "wooed" by Thanos. I wonder if death will take different forms depending on who sees them. Like they project their bias of that archetype onto what manifests before them. Sorry didn't mean to blow you up with text. Man Thing guards the multiverse in the comics and that was probably why they paired him up with Jack in Werewolf by Night. I think he’s going to be a big part and I’m surprised nobody has brought that up yet.

What makes no sense with Anchor thing is what about the world being 1000s of years old. Wolverine is only so old. What about all the years before him. Who was the Anchor before him then?

Maybe it's like the "prophets " in supernatural. One is appointed, then before he/she dies, another is born. That way the anchor is always there. But, if a anchor dies before another is born, maybe that could cause the end of THAT world. Just a thought.

I hope the success of this movie will encourage studio to do more double headliners. I'm thinking It would be fun to see one of these team ups that we've seen in comics - Spiderman & Deadpool, Wolverine & Hulk, Captain America & Wolverine, Spiderman & The Fantastic 4. It would help introduce the new characters the MCU Studio can now include.

I think Deadpool and wolverine were missing from the sacred timeline the whole time.

It’s call incursions, no one is an anchor. An incursion is when you enter another universe when you shouldn’t. You’re universe collides with the one you’re trespassing in. Like we seen in the Flash movie

The Sacred Timeline. This is, so far as has been revealed, the timeline where He Who Remains (Kang) is the ONLY Kang that holds power. That was the entire point of Loki! In every universe they exist, they destroy, they dominate. He Who Remains, was guarding the "sacred timeline" for a deeper reason, and weeding the rest from existing because as you saw, once a Kang exists in a timeline or universe, it will be sought out by and aided, by other Kangs while simultaneously planning to kill all other Kangs ...lol.

I have a META theory on the anchor beings. 1.) we learned in she Hulk, that KEVIN basically runs the MCU. 2.) KEVIN basically controls Kang. 3.) KANG controles the multiverse. So in conclusion, in order for the MCU as a whole to tell the story that we watch and that KEVIN decides on, he must control Kang to lead certain individuals from their timeline to deepen the story for our MCU fandom. Once that anchor is chosen by Kang, there’s may not be any real need for that Universe anymore, so INCURSIONS exist to eliminate the FUD

Hear me out: The Sacred Timeline IS the multiverse. It’s not one universe, it’s a collection of universes that do not deviate from the path He Who Remains wants. So in the Sacred Timeline there are multiple universes but everything that happens in them is scripted to perfection. The sacred timeline is a stripped down version of the multiverse that He Who Remains created by pruning the multiverse (or attempting to). This is why he is constantly trying to prune new branches that deviate from his script. He doesn’t want the sacred timeline to expand into a deviating multiverse again cause he wants to be in control. If things deviate from his script, he can’t control that universe. All other universes that have deviations are gone so when we see another universe it’s either before the pruning (X-Men 97, Fox X-Men Universe, Sony Spider-Man, F4) or after Sylvie kills He Who Remains and The Scarlet Witch awakens (Multiverse of Madness, No Way Home, What If, Spiderverse, new F4). All of the variants the TVA capture come from a universe in the sacred timeline and they are removed/pruned before they can make their universe deviate from the script. He Who Remains won the multiversal war by defeating the other Kangs then pruned the “messy” multiverse and made this streamlined multiverse where almost the exact same thing happens in every universe. IMO, He Who Remains did this in order to remove Jean, the other mutants and the Fantastic 4 because he knows that Reed, Phoenix, and Apocalypse could each destroy him. So he makes sure his version of the multiverse doesn’t have those characters in it. This all came to a head when Wanda “woke up” and became the Scarlet Witch. She sensed that everything was wrong (ie her kids not existing in her universe). Wanda isn’t just a nexus being who can see the multiverse, she also has the ability to change reality hence her becoming the Scarlet Witch was the “threshold” He Who Remains mentions when he can’t see the future anymore. Wanda is a variable and can rewrite the script as she pleases. Everyone says that killing He Who Remains started the branches but it was Actually The Scarlet Witch’s awakening which happened right before he died. The moment she “woke up” she subconsciously recreated the multiverse. The Scarlet Witch awakening was also likely initiated by TLT, Uatu, or even The Phoenix as these are beings who are beyond Kang and likely saw this and knew it had to be fixed. He Who Remains knew this which is why he knows there would, at some point, be a threshold to pass where he wouldn’t be able to see the future. He knew that eventually the cosmic entities would get pissed and create an event that would destroy his little plan hence him trying to get Loki (a god) to reestablish the order for him. This could have been any cosmic entity but I genuinely think it was Jean cause Marvel has revealed that White Phoenix of the Crown Jean Grey is the heart of the multiverse and the source of everything that is. It’s likely Phoenix sensed that there was no longer a Jean Grey in existence so it made it so that the Scarlet Witch would wake up and undo all of this.

I believe whatever is allowing Kang’s Sacred Timeline to isolate will be functioning similar to Rick Sanchez’s Central Finite Curve. Loveness and Waldron were in both writer rooms

I think the whole anchor being thing could be because the being itself is what sets the universe apart from other ones. For example, the moment Loki grabbed the tesseract and disappeared, he created a branch timeline. So, if he dies in that branch timeline, before actually making it different enough from the original timeline he was in, that timeline is destroyed, as it is just a copy of the original timeline he was in now.

The multiverse war is all kangs fighting 4 who is superior but 3 is like let's all work together to rule everything but one is like no imma rule over it all

Maybe Loki has a part to play as being some kind of anchor being.

It would be interesting if they tied it into the Celestials somehow. I believe the whole idea behind why the mutants exist in the first place based on comic origins is because the Celestials came to Earth in the beginning and mucked around with the DNA of the first men/women. In the comics, I think they created the Deviants, the Eternals and the dormant mutant gene. The whole reasoning was to protect the Earth from threats until the Celestial seed within could be born. It would be cool if they somehow explained away Kang messing with the Celestials experiments and somehow preventing them from creating the dormant mutant gene. So at that point all they had to rely on to protect the Celestial seed was the Eternals. Maybe the absolute defeat of Kang is for someone to obtain enough power to essentially erase him from ALL existence undoing ALL of his work which would see the Multiverse collapse on itself and give way to a new universe whereby we get a combination of the previous different universes.

The reason mutants aren’t around in 616 has to do with Franklin Richards. Kang fears him. He’s a mutant.

The whole thing is just all over the place. I don't understand how a regular character is supposed to control something that's been around since before their time. Timelines shouldn't be something that some ordinary "people" can manipulate because it just doesn't make sense. And why is everything always centered around Earth, no matter the dimension? I was under the impression the universes shown to have xmen in them exist within the sacred timeline just adjacent to the MCU, just following their own scripts. I think it's more likely he divided up all the heroes into their own timelines, limiting their overall capacity to even be aware of him let alone challenge him. Could be a nice way to hand wave away the constant attempts at Pheonix movies as it being their "end game" in their timeline script. Same way the illuminati universe still had the same Thanos set up

@1:30 your confusion is because your understanding of timelines and multiverses isn't correct I don't think. Timeliness are different choices or paths that a universe COULD take. The sacred timeline in our universe, is the only timeline he who remains saw, that would result in no more "kangs" coming into existence. the multiverse, consists of different universes. And each universe, has its own Timeliness.

I think I figured out how Anchor Beings work. You know how Loki is holding the multiverse together right? What if Anchor Beings are the connection point Loki is using to hold the multiverse together. But it’s only a temporary fix. When a universe’s Anchor Being dies, Loki loses his connection to that universe and cannot sustain it anymore.
