The big red bus Part 21 - Building the 1/12 scale Agora models Routemaster bus.
After just over a year, the Routemaster bus is finally finished. Just a few roof panels were needed to complete it. This video shows the finished model and all of its features.

@@modellingmisadventures There's a modeler on YT in Australia named Luke Towan (Boulder Creek Railroad) builds dioramas of Australian scenes from scratch and then displays them in natural sunlight and the only way one knows it's not real is when his hand appears to pick up the model. Your bus would look spectacular in natural light like an overcast London day superimposed against a background photo of London. Just a thought.

Superb job! Such detail too. The roof imperfection.....what about a bit of car polish? I think that might do the trick. I loved the On The Buses Theme! What about a Blakey figure hanging out of the back? Excellent!

I did try a bit of polishing compound on the original parts but it seemed to be making the paint job worse.

It’s a 1/12 scale model so that would be about right.
what room number are you in
