Thank you. Difficult to think straight and hard to process all what happened. But the last time I saw him was the night before he passed. And he was acting out fishing with his eyes closed. He was in a good place. 🙏 And he died on the same day his fishing mate did 3 years ago. 🙏

It doesn’t matter how old you are the loss of a parent is gut punch that really hurts. I’m sure your Dad was very proud of you two lads and will look down fondly and with pride and satisfaction at the craftsmanship you show. My sincere condolences to you both and to all his friends and family.

Yeah you seem to find these days that most of the 10lt tubs always have to be strained! All the dried paint stick to the inside of the lids and falls in the good paint I always wash the inside of the lid first.

My condolences, it’s a tough thing to deal with. I find it a help talking to my brother and sharing stories about our dad and the things he did in his life. 7 years on from his passing my brother and I rarely meet up without a conversation that starts with “do you remember the time when dad…..”

God bless 😢 So sorry for your loss. My dad was a painter and decorator, and he passed away in 1996. The skills I've learnt from him help me decorate many of the places I've lived over the years. I'm not sure if you learnt off your dad, but I'm sure his really proud of you and will be watching over you.
