I generally didn't like G Ramsey for the longest time...until I realized that I didn't like "performance" Ramsey. The genuine article was a kind, funny, brilliant cook who had not much of a filter. Performance Ramsey was either exploding or gushing, and not much in between. But he is rich and famous, so I can't say he was wrong about it, lol.

Spot on
What a wild piece of history to see Tennant so down on himself before becoming THE most popular Doctor Who of all time. I hope he believes in himself now! Allonsy!
Wow. I didn't realise until watching this episode that the "unconventional school plays from Mitchel Brook Primary School" started off as a literal modern-day reframing of the nativity. Fantastic.
It's crazy how awkward this is compared to later episodes! Edit: halfway through I realised Jimmy's 'ah-ah-ah-AH!' laugh is missing, too!

@@NoudlePipW , some people are poor and can't afford modern technologies. Some people are frugal and keep old technology that works even if they can afford new tech. And some people limit how much new technology they buy for ethical reasons: child workers or underpaid/mistreated adult workers making the tech in foreign factories, massive amounts of fuel used and CO2 released into the atmosphere to transport new tech products, underpaid/mistreated workers who ship and deliver the products locally, and underpaid/mistreated retail workers who sell the products in store. David Mitchell - go to Het Nederland for the best chocolate sandwiches - I grew up with Dutch “Hagel” = Chocolate Sprinkles on White bread & butter - we called the sprinkles “Muisjen” = mouse poop - Dutch Dialect from Gelderland - when my mother ran out of Muisjen she put a whole Jersey Milk bar (we live in CDA & that was a fav Neilson’s Chocolate bar - she worked at their factory in Toronto) on bread & butter for our lunch (we got one protein sandwich - deli meat or cheese or peanut butter & one sweet sandwich for lunch which we took to school everyday. Don’t dis chocolate sandwiches - they’re delicious and I used them as currency - trading them for my Italian classmates Nonna’s creations such as whole stuffed Artichokes or huge broccolini or rapini sandwiches on homemade Ciabatta bread - both my fav’s. I had a surfeit of chocolate at home!
