I know this is almost a decade late but did she stop it cause it was funny or because she didn't want curse words played on school

One thing I wonder is, how was Sheldon wrong here? Was the temperature of the room changed without him knowing? Sheldon clearly stated the facts about the chirping so I reallyyy expected him to win in this episode lol

I know it’s a year on but, Sheldon was wrong because the cricket was never in the room. He got the theory right, but didn’t have the correct location for his science to be right. Just my theory anyway.

I just read a transcript of this episode on the internet. It said “Howard indicates that Sheldon has got it” and I was like ‘what, by pointing at his nose?”

At 1:51 he speaks about Billy Sparks :)

Errr... chickens may not be able to "climb" a tree, but they certainly are able to fly just high enough to get up there. In fact, chickens in the countryside usually sleep up in trees.

I think he links such phrases and behavior to his childhood and the fact that his mother was religious.

Raj : "Chicken can't climb tree" Owh, Raj dear... Chicken can't climb tree, but they can fly to the lowest branch, hop till the highest branch they can go... And Sheldon, u r lucky becoz u r not in Malaysia's rural area (village) coz honey dear, here, they do "climb" the tree 🤣🤣🤣

So happy Howard won this one. Having owned both FF #48 and Flash #123, I can say this was a HUGE bet. Seeing Sheldon having to give up the Flash comic was GOLD to me.

I think its interesting that sheldon himself didn't notice that... Perhaps his persistence on the wager is motivated more by his desire to demostrate his intellectual dominance over Wolowitz..

Not many shows actually show characters eating. Only one that comes to memory is The Sopranos. And even they played with the food a whole lot.
